This is to report bedbugs crawling on bed as soon as I walked into the room at Ramada Abbotsford yesterday. ******************, Abbotsford. I had read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel and how filthy it was but I booked through Expedia and it was non-refundable. The Expedia operator recommended this for me! She said she would stay in a place like this one. Wish I had done my homework FIRST. The front desk girl seemed to brush it off when my husband asked her if she knew the implications of bed bugs and how she may need to call in an exterminator. The entire hotel was in horrible condition from a broken sign to garbage in the hallway. We were supposed to be there for a hockey tournament for three nights but since I could not find any accommodations last minute on a long weekend, we had to take the ferry back to Vancouver Island and my son missed his tournament. I feel that some agency needs to go in and inspect this place. You just have to read the reviews and experiences people have had. Nothing is being done and the staff dont seem to care. How can a business charge to stay in such filth? You are better off to camp in your car!I cannot attach a photo here but I have one of the monstrous critter.

When we went down to the smoking area there was a young man sitting in his car when we went back to our room he was outside our hotel room door trying to get in. How did he know which room we were in..** ***** ******* *** **** *** ** *** ******** ****** ** ***** **** ***** ******* He also tried my daughter's door when she opened it he was standing there. We came back before he left and my daughter told us what was going on my husband asked him to empty his pockets after I seen our door was slightly open....our door was the only one in the hotel that didn't Automatically close. The fire door to the smoking area was propped opened which is against fire violations. The amount of money we spent for these two rooms should have atleast given us the security to not have to sleep with one eye open. Rooms 227 & 228 are at the end of the hallway with no where to go....not happy at all.
