  Agree! Had this guy come out to check my leaking tank. He said it PRV failed. He turned off main water shut and replaced PRV but didn't clamp it correctly. When he turned on main water we had a geyser in our basement. All he said was "guess I didn't put it on tight" and left us to clean up a flooded basement. Will never use this business again!

  Thought these people were going to be great. Called and had same-day service, which was good because I was taking a day off to be available. Installer, Erv, arrives much later than promised, flustered because of traffic. Proceeds to drive his dolly into the doorframe, taking out chunks, and then installs the tank. When he pressurizes the system, I spotted a leak. He tells me, 'I've beein doing this 35 years and never get a leak.' The leak was unmistakable, though, and in his work. he then proceeds to apply huge heat directly to the part of the tank that has a big sticker saying not to. Once the tank is installed, it makes an unholy racket, suggesting damage. Called Garry, who sent Erv back, Except he never came. Claimed a bad anode, that ***** is out of. Claimed to be hounding them, but ***** tells us that a call was never received. We hounded Garry for a full year. Never got anything other than stalling. Now, 18 months later, the tank is leaking and Garry says 'sorry, my labour warranty is only a year' and proceeds to blame his installer, Phil, who had nothing to do with our job except talking to us on the phone once (he sounded great). Bottom line: Garry Richard's Water Heaters Only is not who you want 'helping' you. They'll hang you out to dry, and refuse to take responsibility for their work or products.

  Needed a hot water tank replacement and called Garry. He talks the talk but doesn't follow through. He told me he was bringing a *****. Had me measure my space the night before all good. This Garry turns up with a totally different tank. Bait and switch. Watch out for that. He told me he was licenced and would qualify for a ****** rebate. Then he leaves a generic receipt that cannot be used to claim a rebate. All efforts to contact him for a detailed receipt has failed so no rebate. Beware of sweet talkers. Perhaps time for him to retire. Unprofessional!

  We had our tank replaced by such an experienced licensed installer ***** His professional service exceeds our expectations! Didnt even need any help to move in and out the tanks which under the basement. Plus nice communication. Highly recommended !

  Not very happy....I called and arranged to have my 50g tank replaced but they showed up with a 40g... so back he goes to get the right tank. Everything gets installed and running and he leaves. A few minutes later the intake line starts leaking, I turn everything off, water, gas etc and call back...can't come back until the afternoon...I took the morning off to be home, now I guess I'm taking the afternoon off too. Comes back, visibly irritated, fixes the leak and leaves. Half hour later, no hot water...I check the tank, he didn't light it, I try several times to get it lit to no avail. He tries walking me through on the phone and comes back, really irritated and can't light it either, finally bleeds the line and then says to me..."I don't know what you did to it but I never had to bleed a line before" I was ****** and said I turned it off is all. Bottom line, don't hire these guys who do shoddy work and then try to blame you
