I was in this business browsing. I noticed a dog on the floor, which looked like an old carpet till I looked closely. He is very large and lying flat so I was glad I noticed him. I was with my son and we browsed the whole bottom floor then headed upstairs. We came back down and I was looking up and around at everything. All of a sudden I was trying to stay upright because, looking up I backed up and landed right on this poor old dog. I fell backwards sliding my back down wooden shelves and my son turned and grabbed the back of my head so it didn't hit anything. All I remember hearing was my son saying OMG and the girl behind the counter let out a grunt or noise and came around and got the dog. She didn't apologize, she didn't offer any kind of help. She just took her dog and I'm not sure what she did. I stood up and walked out of the store. My son followed asking if I was okay and I said I'll be fine, I just feel so bad for the dog. I wonder how many times he gets trampled on or kicked in error because of bad owners. I did message the company on their Facebook page and I received a message back telling me I was One Nasty Entitled Boomer. WOW what is the matter with younger, I'm not saying she's young but younger than me at 70, people these days. Just disgusting behavior I would not expect to come from a business owner. Good Luck in your business. I feel it will only go downhill from the previous owners. Their prices are ridiculously high. I am also thinking about contacting a lawyer as my back is now bruised and sore.

Beware if consigning with this business. Everything Old's contract when consigning states, they review all sales at the end of the month and pay out any monies owing after 15 days, less a $1.50 fee for sending payment via etransfer. Sounds fair enough, or so it seemed........
We had 3 pieces of antique furniture consigned, 2 chairs and a couch on January 13, 2023. One chair sold two days later on January 15, the other on March 26. First payment received should have been February 15, the other on April 15. After several weeks of nothing I emailed them to inquire when we would receive our payouts. It was only after that, did we receive our payment for both on May 14th, 88 days late on the first item, 29 days on the second. We were given an excuse of "illness" as the reason for late payment.
Later this year, our couch sold on August 23, and should have received our money on September 15. Fast forward to October 21, and once again Nothing. I emailed again and got crickets. Our couch was still featured on their website, so my wife made a comment on the 25th asking when we'd be paid for our sold item. Two days later, we received payment on October 27, with no apology and no explanation. Our total owed was $578.99.
This vendor makes you sign a contract that largely protects them. Only a small paragraph covers payment to the consignor, and it was clear that they did not live up to their own terms whatsoever. It was like pulling teeth to get paid and as a result, they have lost a customer in us. One only wonders, if we would have ever received anything at all, had we not reached out to them which, we should not have had to do.
I suppose you're fine if you're just going in to buy, but if you're thinking of consigning with these people, please consider this review before you sign with them. We will never be stepping foot in that shop again. Very, VERY poor business ethic. If I could give this business a zero-star rating, I would.
