  Live here in ******** for 3 years: manager always on call, ready to assist.Change blinds in my bedroom, fixed fridge, bought a screen door.

  My nephew rented from them in ***************, the old company was great. These people bought the buildings they are liars and cheats. The attempted to evict him for having a pet when his original lease stated the building was pet friendly. Once he disputed the eviction to the *** they immediately wanted to negotiate him leaving in two months and agreed to waive the two months rent in exchange quite obviously they didn't want to attend a hearing because they knew they would lose as they have a terrible reputation already. Then made up lies about damages to try and take his damage deposit. Don't rent from them

  All the same complaints as ****, evicting with no good reason, coercing long time tenants to pay more rent, very unprofessional management, the landlord ***** is very rude, barged right into my sons room while he was sleeping. DON'T RENT from them. They won't provide you with proper working appliances etc. They make up false reasons about damage, so as not to return your security deposit. All in all a very terrible company that intimidates and treats it's tenants terribly.

  **RENTER/BUYER BEWARE**
  So much bad practice by Harron Investments. I am personally aware of bad practice ** ********* *** in Richmond, BC where Harron Investments rents out 2 buildings of condos to tenants and has a building manager overseeing the 2 buildings.
  -Building manager entering units without notice.
  In one case, the female tenant was in the unit! Building manager proceeded to bribe the tenant saying they will deduct $600 from 1 months rent for her not to say anything.
  -Building manager asking for voluntary rent increases from tenants to be able to afford landscaping. I would like to add that the landlord (Harron Investments) owns 7 buildings.
  -Building manager finding any small reason to evict a tenant (not a legitimate eviction reason). (i.e. water from a rose plant dripped onto the building managers deck and he used that reason and that they have a dog but it is currently a dog friendly building).
  -Landlord changing ***** ********* *** **** a dog friendly building to non dog friendly building.
  -Building manager saying they need to do renovations to units as a way to increase the rent. If they do renovations, tenants need to move all belongings out at their own expense.
  -Charging tenants visitors visitor parking in a free parking zone.
  The list goes on. As a tenant you have many rights and you MUST report these instances through Residential Tenancy Branch. Coming together as a group is even better. The less people report, the more landlords will get away with.
  I don't even want to leave a star rating, but I had to put 1 star.
