my problem started on when I used this company service to fix a ***** built -in Microwave which stopped working . called tony the technician and asked him how much he will charge. He said 280 dollars if he fix the problem , but if he cant there will be no charge that was last November . he fixed it temporary as it stopped working after 3 weeks , called him again to come and fix it but he couldn't. and he suggested on 07dec to buy certain parts from reliable parts which I did for 370 dollars and he came and installed the parts by 28dec last year and asked for 450 dollars for his work which was on the high side, tried to negotiate the 450 he was insisting so we paid it cash as he requested CASH ONLY . we where hoping that will be the last time . 12 days later it stopped working again . my wife and me called and texted him and he never answered us till today 26jan 2023 . I am not happy with TONY SERVICE ** ** **** ******* ** **** ***** **** *** the problem was never solved I am asking you to get him paying back my money that he got so as to find some other one to fix my Microwave. An appointment was booked for a ***** built-in wall oven unit with a microwave on top.
(problem microwave not working.)
Model number # **********
**** asked me how much will I charge to diagnose the problem.
I mentioned to him is $280.00 for me to diagnose it and that Parts & installation are extra only if required also if I have to bring another person to pull out the wall oven unit because it’s very heavy due to my safety There’s an additional $120.00 extra for I have to pay my helper for a full day work.
He told me even though he has a health condition he and his son they’re able to help me to pull out the wall oven unit and at this time No need for a helper also he mentioned to me this oven had recently been diagnosed by another company and they called for a wrong part and end up costing him over $1000.00 to purchase the user display and a main control board from reliable parts supplier himself.
After diagnosing the problem, I found out the left door switch was faulty I replaced it with a new one and the microwave started working again with a warranty on the part we both agreed on, he also tries to sell me the new parts and I refuse to purchase it.
Full payment was made by credit card and invoice.

I received a call stating that this time the dishwasher stopped working now, and he wants me to take a look at it as soon as possible also mention to me in the text and also over the phone that they don’t longer require receipts going forward
and they would like to pay cash, I have told them I will pay the tax myself.
The next day I provide them with a quote for the repair of their dishwasher and they decide to purchase a new one since it was too expensive for them to fix, I end up having to go back at different times to disconnect plus remove the old dishwasher and to install a new one since their friend is not available to install the new dishwasher for a cheaper price.
On August 5, 2022.
I install the new dishwasher and ***** she told me my husband he’s not home he is in Egypt for vacation and he will pay me when he is back from vacation she asks me how much for my service I told her $400.00 to diagnose the first dishwasher and to install plus to dispose of the old dishwasher. She told me He’s also brought you a gift from Egypt and he would call you when his back from vacation.

On that day I received a call from **** that my microwave has No power he wants me to service it the same day and he was going to help me to pull the oven out of the wall.
After opening the top panel right away, I found out that one of the wires that connected to the temperature regulator on top of the Magnatron is damaged and burnt out causing the safety fuse to blow.
Invoice reliable parts,# ******* 11/24/2022
Purchase the next day and install the new parts tested together the microwave worked fine did not receive any payment. The reason for that is I just wanted to make sure everything works fine before he makes a full payment and keeps using it for a few days.
November 29/2022
I send him a text message asking for an update on the microwave performance. He told me he was not in town He’s coming back on December 6 and he’s going to let me know.
On Dec 07/2022
I received a text that the microwave stopped working again no power so I suggested to him to go to reliable parts where he purchased the user display board in the past, and buy the following item ( magnetron, transformer, diode and capacitor) since the reliable parts has a return policy is you can return any parts you purchase within 30 days of the purchase as long as is not installed Plus making sure I have all the parts I needed to diagnose the problem and save time and the hassle.
Here when it gets more interesting. **** goes into reliable parts on 12/08/22 invoices number # ******* and used my companies name which he had No consent from me at -All and pay the product with his own **** card expires on 12/23 which I found out later when he asked me to go pick up the parts for him Lol. unbelievable is like a partner I never had plus committing a crime using a fake identity.
On Wednesday, December 28 at 1:00 pm I arrived with the parts, and with my helper, because he was not home at this time and she asked me to install all the new parts I texted him the price$450.00 for this job he called me and finally, he agreed and told me he’s going to be home in a few hours to pay me.
After 3 hours finishing this job and leaving the house to go to my next job I got a call within 10 minutes from **** himself he asked me what kind of warranty is he getting from this job I told him none since he bought the parts himself, and he is only paying me to install All -the new parts warranty should come from reliable parts since I’m only charging him to install the parts not for diagnostic he wasn’t happy he hung up the phone on me, immediately I turned around drove back to his house. The wife answered the door She told me he was not home yet and she doesn’t have enough money. I should come back the next day and talk to him about the payment. The only thing she offered to pay me was for my helper for that day's work which I ask her too because I need to pay him she E-transfer $120.00 only.
After leaving the house again On the same night at 5:06 pm he sends me a text message as follows:
What u have done now is harass us
U won't have the right to knock on my door do u understand ??. I

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:Title: Response to Complaint and Request for Resolution
Dear to Whom It May ********************** would like to inform you that we have read the response in accordance with our complaint and we are not satisfied and would like to clarify some remarks made by the other party and later respond as to what the resolution can be in this circumstance.
To begin we find that it is completely unprofessional that the other party had insinuated that we are committing fraudulent acts for being unable to use our **** card at the time to purchase parts for the microwave as it had expired when ReliableParts requested that the party pick up the already purchased parts (as it was under their company name), the other party said and I quote His own **** card expires on 12/23 which I found out later when he asked me to go pick up the parts for him Lol. unbelievable is like a partner I never had plus committing a crime using a fake identity. It was completely okay if the other party was uncomfortable with picking up the parts, it is in his right to say this, however, this was not the case. Additionally, we had already purchased the parts in full on 12/08/23, so insinuating that we were fraudulent was not only irrelevant to the situation, but inaccurate and a possible means of tampering our identity.
We have attached an image of the invoice and proof of payment below here to show that we purchased these parts on 12/08/23 to ensure that our identity is not being remarked as fraudulent. We also have attached a screenshot of our banking on this day to show the withdrawal.
We have a reasonable belief that this above message was framed in order to insinuate a poor image of us, otherwise, we are not sure for what reason this would be said with respect to us. In this way, we find it important to also clarify other elements of the other partys messaging below.
The other party is the original person who has come to us on an appointment basis in June 2022 with respect to a dishwasher issue, and November 23rd, 2021, and December 28th, 2022 all of which are in relation to our ***** microwave that had brown down again on January 10th, 2023.
Regarding the ***** Microwave, in November 2021 for the other partys initial visit, he indicated an issue with the microwave door and fuse and replaced it - we paid the other party in cash for the service. However, the party indicated that we had paid by credit card which is incorrect, he was paid $280.00 in cash. In a side casual conversation, ***** asked the other party if he would like to purchase the brand new motherboard for the microwave as this motherboard was made known to be irrelevant to the issue of the microwaves dysfunction, ***** offered a discount and the other party respectfully refused - that was the end of the story.
In respect to the comment made regarding the dishwasher during July 2022, the other party indicates that ***** mention to [him] in the text and also over the phone that [we] dont longer require receipts going forward, we do not have any records or recollection of this interaction with ***** and believe it is in the best interest of the party to collect or keep track of receipts. Additionally, ***********************, whom the party is referring to in this above quote, was in ***** at this time and was unable to make calls or texts with the party, the other party was not in communication with *********************** at this time although he incorrectly indicates I received a call stating that this time the dishwasher stopped working now, and he wants me to take a look at it as soon as possible also mention to me in the text and also over the phone that they dont longer require receipts going forward. The party was in communication with *********************** and she never indicated over text message or call that we did not need receipts. However, she did reach out to him asking how much we owed the other party and indicated that we could send payment over e-transfer, he responded by indicating to pay him the next day when he would be back (in-person), in response, ***** brought cash upon his visit and had paid the other party $400 in total which is inconsistent with what the other party indicates which is that ***** said that ***** would pay the other party once back from vacation, however, ***** already paid the party before ***** returned and upon the partys next visit. Other than this, we have no indication that we said we no longer required receipts in July of 2022 as indicated, ***** recalls the party indicating verbally that he would need cash and no receipt would follow when paid cash.
Weve included this text conversation below:
As for November 2022 when our microwave stopped working again the other party attempted to fix the microwave and was unable to, so the other party recommended that we purchase parts which we will show in screenshots of the messaging below.
So in November 2022, we did not pay for service yet as we had to order parts which had been done on December 8th, 2022 (as indicated in the above invoices).
On December 8th we went to the reliable part store and the cashier asked which party was installing the parts for us, we let her know that **** from Comfort appliances, and she then said that this company is listed with them and gave us a discount (The other party was complaining that we took his discount behind his back when he told us where to go, what to buy and the store associate asked who we were working with, it was never our intention to do anything behind the partys back).
After his 3-hour service on December 28th, we paid in cash (as there was a cash request to ***** by text, the screenshot below) with $280 and $120 by e-transfer (screenshot of the e-transfer below) as ***** did not have enough cash on her at the time as she did not expect such a high price and ***** was not home - a total of $400 was paid after ***** negotiated the price from $500 to $400 in-person after the service was done. The next day as ***** was working from home, the other party came back to our home and wanted to talk to ***** as he was unhappy regarding the negotiation on the price. ***** was taken back and was worried why the party had come back without an appointment *** ** **** **** ************* **** **** ** ** *** ***************
The text regarding pricing and how we should only bring cash to *****:
E-transfer ***** made following the cash payment on December 28th, 2022:
Not long after following the partys last service visit on December 28th, 2022, on Jan 10th, 2023, the Microwave broke down. We attempted to reach out as indicated in the texts below, however, he did not come or respond
In light of all of the above and what we have had to face, we simply would like to come to a reasonable resolution of the party refunding the money that was received to fix the microwave by cash and e-transfer as it is not fixed and has continued to break down upon several visits. We would appreciate a refund of $750.00 in total so we can take these funds to reach a technician who can fix our ***** Microwave.
Sincerely,
