Beyond disappointing with how the adult adhd center operates. A fancy, eye catching website, with just enough information to grab the attention of an ADHDer.once youve paid the fees, communication becomes incredibly difficult. there isn't an office phone number on the website, & that all emails are answered by a generic title.I hired them for a formal adult assessment (diagnosed as a child in 1978, those files are no longer available) & assistance with completing DTC applications. However as soon as *** asked for more details fromThe signature physician, they seemed to stop answering my emails. They asked me to complete the *** to them, with the follow instructions Please provide specific examples of how ADHD affected you in Childhood and Adulthood in a Word document attachment or in the body of an email.Use third person, such as *************** has had problems with rather than "I experiencedCould you please provide your response for: Please give examples of how your patient is limited in each area, compared to someone of similar age without an impairment in mental functions: ?I asked several times for assistance with these questions, only to be told We understand that discussing your concerns in writing may seem a bit overwhelming. However, in order to ensure that we have an accurate record of our conversation and the information provided, we kindly ask that you put your thoughts and questions in written form. This will help us keep a clear record of what is said and ensure that the correct information is communicated to ***.I did end up completing the additional questions *** sent, and the office literally copy & pasted my word document into the *** form, and then added Dr ***** digital signature for a company that sells itself as ADHD experts, their conduct is exactly what ADHDers should avoid. It took 27 emails & a few voicemails (receptionist never answered a single call) to get the final version Im my opinion, its a quick money grab.

I have had untreated ADHD my entire life. On February 15, I had an appointment with a nurse practitioner requesting that my diagnosis be fast-tracked, as I recently lost my job due to my ADHD. The nurse practitioner said she would put in the request, but since then, I have called and emailed numerous times without anyone responding to my requests. I even asked for a formal doctor's ****** with information about the medication my family doctor can prescribe, but I have received no response.I have full custody of my 9-year-old child, and I cannot afford to wait eight weeks for a response. I have also discovered a Reddit page full of negative reviews of this establishment, indicating that this is how they conduct their business. I am pleading with you to please send me my report. My uncle passed away almost two weeks ago, and I am trying to get my life in order. My benefits are about to expire, and I am behind on rent. I implore you to respond to my calls and emails.

Dear ***,As we have explained to you when you posted this review on multiple other sites already, your assessment was actually on February 22, 2023.You will have received your report about 3 weeks after your appointment. We explain on our website that the report should be completed within 4 weeks of the assessment dat. We do our best to expedite urgent requests for people wanting their reports more quickly. The Adult ADHD Centre works very hard to summarize all of the past medical history, past medication history, family history, current symptoms and current ongoing disabilities, with a diagnosis and then detailed treatment recommendations. This does take us some time to do carefully, but we try to get the report completed as quickly as possibly. We know people are wanting their consultation report so that they can proceed with the management of their condition and better deal with lifelong struggles.***, we wish you the best of health and success going forward.-The AdultADHDCentre
