We leased a T550 Bobcat Track Loader from Meridian, through ****** Bobcat. The monthly payments via contract are *******. Proof of insurance was required which we provided to Bobcat, ****** who in turn, provided the insurance documents to Meridian. The first payment came out *** our account via pre-authorized debit, a pro-rated amount of *******. Payments in the amount of ******* for *********** 2024 came out of our account. So far, so good. Jan., ************ 2025 our account was debited in the amount of *******. This was done without consent, notice, or cause. Upon learning Meridian was taking more money, I contacted Bobcat, ****** via email explaining the situation to our sales **** **** ******, & to obtain contact info for Meridian. **** forwarded my email to *** ******** who replied via email Mar. 20. She said the payment increased because they didnt have proof of insurance & were charging us an insurance premium; likely our policy had expired she said. I replied it was not expired, it was new policy in Oct. 2024. **** confirmed he sent the insurance docs to Meridian. Then she said they did get the insurance but there was a discrepancy. Then she said insurance was sufficient & would issue a refund once the insurance company paid Meridian. However, Meridian was at the mercy of the insurance companys billing cycle so Meridian couldnt refund me right away. She then admitted Meridian had the wrong email address for the insurance department & also had the wrong email address for us. March 20 over the phone, she said the money would be back in my account in eight business days. Im still waiting. She also said via email that shes checking our account every day for the refund. Why is she checking every day if she needs to rely on the two days a month the insurance company processes billing? She took money without ********** still waiting, out nearly $800.00 We have other expenses we need to cover & need our money back. **** ****** has also pressured Meridian.

The insurance policy was received on March 20, 2025, for evaluation and subsequently forwarded to the insurance center for review. On March 24, 2025, we received confirmation that the insurance was sufficient. We informed the client on March 25th, 2025, that the insurance fee would be credited back within 1-2 billing cycles. On April 3, 2025, the client was notified that the insurance credit had been received and refunded to the bank account on file.

After signing a lease in which the dealer did not explain or discuss and **** about the details. Im stuck with a truck of which I asked to return (I had put a heafty down payment so Im losing money already) this is a lease not a finance and Ive been begging to return the truck after losing my contracts and having no income the pay the truck. The company first told me I could return the truck BUT I would still be liable for all payments for the entire lease term even without the equipment. Now they turned around and said I can return the equipment and they can auction it for whatever amount and then I owe the balance even if they sold it for ****** less than I owe and I have no option to say yes close enough to the balance or no. When have you ever heard of an owner not being able to put a reserve on an item at auction. Im happy to auction it as long as I can put a reserve on it but after all this how can I even trust them to tell me the truth about what they sold it for. **** **** **** * * **** ****** ****** *** **** ***** ****** **** ******* ***** ********* *** *********
