    **** Davis was assigned by my insurance company to handle the emergency response and repairs for my house water damage which was happen on Dec 30, 2020, at ****************************. During the process, I communicated with the project manager, ****, requesting that he coordinate with a plumber to replace my homes pipes. I was willing to pay for any additional drywall and painting work required due to the coordination. **** agreed to this request, yet despite multiple follow-ups, he never provided me with a quote, never obtained my approval for the additional work, and never arranged for me to inspect and approve the completed work.When I was unable to reach ****, I contacted other **** Davis representatives to ask whether these additional services had been included in their invoice to the insurance company and covered by the payment they received. Instead of a clear answer, I was met with three years of complete silence.Then, in April 2024, I was suddenly contacted by *****, the President of **** Davis, demanding that I pay a $5,250 bill. I explained the situation to him and requested a detailed breakdown of the work performed along with supporting documentation. However, to today, I have not received any response or proof of the claimed **********, instead of providing the requested documentation, ***** sent me an email threatening to report this charge to my credit file if I do not pay the bill.I am deeply distressed by **** Daviss handling of this matter. The company conducted work at my home without my authorization, without providing a quote, and without giving me the opportunity to seek a more cost-effective alternative. After avoiding this issue for three years, they are now using aggressive threats of legal action and credit damage to force me into paying a bill I never agreed to.I am seeking your assistance that I receive fair and just treatment in this matter. Please advise on the appropriate steps I can take to resolve this dispute.
