I ordered containers from their online site at ************************** on two occasions. There were problems with both orders. In each case, one of the containers I ordered had significant manufacturing flaws. The order dates were 2/28/2025, order number 5987, and 3/9/2025, order number ******* the first order, one of the 8 cm airtight containers had dents along the bottom rim that look like they happened during manufacturing. In the second order, one of the 18 cm airtight containers had a similar dent along the bottom rim. These dents are clearly manufacturing flaws and not due to shipping and handling, because this is heavy gauge (not easy to dent) stainless steel, and the shipping cartons arrived without any damage or evidence of mishandling. Also, the nature of the dents is similar in all cases. They are pinpoint indentations that look like the result of some kind of mechanical handling during manufacturing. And they are all along bottom rims of containers.I tried contacting the company by email. On March 8, I sent email to ***************************** asking about a return/replacement for the container in the first order. I received a reply from ******* ******* on March 16 saying she couldn't find my order in the system, and requesting also photos of the damage. I sent PDFs of the order confirmation emails as well as pictures of all the dents (all attached to this complaint), and I mentioned that there was now a second damaged container (as I'd received the second order). On March 26th, I emailed again, asking about replacing the damaged containers. I have received no further replies from the company. I also attempted to call twice during regular business hours on the west coast, and both times I got voicemail. I left messages both times and was never called back.I am requesting only that these flawed containers be replaced with ones that do not have the flaws. Any return shipping should be the company's responsibility.
