      After using Travel Best Bets to book our 3 week trip to **** as well as a 10 day Cruise we will not use them again. The agents we used (will not share their names) were distant and seemed annoyed to do the work of finding and booking. When we questioned the one resort that was on a "mud bay" she seemed to be very annoyed and said "it gets ok reviews" maybe she should actually go there or do research. We didn't like what we saw online but we just went so I didn't have to disappoint her by changing what she had booked. Big mistake and I have learned.Attitudes are everything when it comes to business and personal service jobs - if you don't like people don't be a travel agent. Go to ********** and do your own research online or find a hard working pleasant travel agent. You can't even check prices on their web site? And with their advertising on ********* you would think they would go over and above but low and bad is what you get. Won't use again...

      Travel Best Bets is failing to exercise its due diligence in checking out the quality & the star ratings of the various hotels that they offer on their website. They should be able to state without question that the hotels they are offering are exactly that & nothing else. The hotel property in question is the ******* ***** *** ***** in San Jose del Cabo. We had booked this hotel with Travel Bests Bets, and the one that we stayed at in the first week in February. The hotel was sub standard & the accommodation & services provided were poor & lacking. The hotel was advertised on Travel Best Bets' website as being a 4 star hotel, which in fact, it is not. A complaint was filed with Travel Best Bets regarding the condition of the hotel and in particular the poor quality of services provided. I was advised that the matter would be looked into & followed up. The owner was informed & knew of our displeasure regarding this matter, but she chose not to involve herself. Obviously, no action has been taken, because as recent as May 7th, 2024, Travel Best Bets is continuing to advertise the Krystal Grand as a 4 star hotel. At best, it's a 2 to 2.5 star hotel, and definitely not a 4. The travelling public should not be ****** by some travel agencies who take no responsibility or ownership for the authenticity of the travel products they sell. They have a moral & professional duty to investigate and take appropriate action when matters of this nature are brought to their attention.

      I am very disappointed in Travel best best. When I first contacted them I received an immediate reply. I booked an Italy tour with them through **********. My agent booked my flights quickly and got me good prices. That was 6 months ago. I have emailed her to see if she can change my return flight so I can extend my vacation in Amsterdam. She replied once in the last 6 months, then nothing. I cannot book my time off work without knowing when I will be home!!! Also, I attended a VIP get together in Langley in October and decided to book an African Safari, so I emailed an agent based in Burnaby (she gave me her card at the event and told me to contact her if I needed anything), I have heard absolutely nothing from her. So needless to say I did not book my trip to Africa through them. But, still waiting news about my Italy trip. I thought this company was good. Communication is awful. Will not use them again.

      Other than trying to get through their phone line they have awesome good value travel deals I have never found anywhere else and good service.

      Booked a cruise through best bet along with a friend but through different agents several days before we were to leave we compared itinerary he had twice the room credit dining credit as I did
      When I phoned to ask why my agent said I left it to late so to bad nothing she would do
      So I phoned cruise line and they said booking was the but best bets choose to add extra to his and not mine it was totally on there end Not what my agent told me
      I will never book through them again

      An update on what has happened Kerry from best pets went above and beyond our complaints and resolve the issues that they could from their end we were extremely happy with the resolution and the service that we got from ***** ***** ********* cruise line also realized they had made a mistake and totally rectified it to the best of their ability I am grateful to both best pets and ***** ********* cruise line for resolving these issues thank you *** *******
