    On June 1, 2023 I phoned All Rite Rooter/Sewage Pumping Service to get a history on the septic tank located on the property we recently purchased. The office manager emailed me the information and we located the tank and exposed the lid. I called her back the next day to thank her for her help and ask for a quote to have the tank emptied. She told me it would cost $625 unless the pumper encountered one or more of the difficulties that she proceeded to explain. The cost would then be higher. This seemed reasonable since the cost quoted by their competitor was $620. I booked an appointment for June 6. The truck arrived. The tank was emptied. The driver said there was no problem with the tank or the field. Everything looked in excellent condition. He then handed me an invoice for $698. I did not complain to the driver. He was not the one who gave me the quote. When the office manager called me the next day about payment, I disputed the charge. She told me that the $625 was not a quote. I told her I thought it was definitely a misrepresentation of facts on her part and it didnt end there. She talked to her boss and said she was willing to give me a discount. I said I didnt want the discount, I wanted the quote. She said okay how much are you willing to pay . I replied that I would pay $625 plus taxes. She said alright I will email you a receipt . What I received instead was an invoice indicating partial payment only with an amount remaining. Another deception and misrepresentation of our agreement. I would like the public to know that this company is *********** and untrustworthy. Buyer beware. I would like to know if I have to pay the remaining amount on the invoice. Its not about the money. Its about principles and integrity.
