    On July 9, 2023 I paid $1156. to Kristian P****** to seal coat my driveway. By the end of July the coating was coming off in 2 areas of my driveway and sticking onto the NEW tires(purchased in May 2023) of my car! Kris did come by and did a small repair and cleaned my tires but could give me no explanation as to why this happened other than to say I shouldn't park on my driveway. Which is a bit silly as it is my driveway! However, by August more of the coating was coming off and so I once again called Kris but did NOT receive a reply even though he had told me in July that IF I had any further problems to contact him! By October I could see more of the coating crumbling and when I was finally able to reach him by phone our conversation turned a bit nasty as I told him I was VERY upset and wanted him to redo my driveway or return my money. I found his attitude to be VERY discourteous and unprofessional! I am a senior without alot of money and my husband recently died in October of 2022. I found this whole exchange/experience VERY hurtful and disrespectful. I will add that I hired this young man because I thought he was a nice kid and wanted to give him a chance as I knew he was new to the business. My son also gave him a VERY good ****** review which has since been taken down. I have nothing good to say now about this young man or his business.     Hello. I am very disappointed to see that Ms **** has filed a complaint. Yes we had complications with the sealer sticking to her car tires but not everything she stated in her complaint was true. I have gone to her house 5 times on 5 different days to fix the situation as well as clean her car tires (which was out of courtesy as I am not obligated to do so). I made multiple phone calls and had in person talks with fellow asphalt companies to figure out why the sealer was sticking to her tires. I was informed by the supp***r of the sealant I used that when the temperature is above 30 degrees the sealer will soften and parking warm car tires on top of the hot pour crackseal it will pull it off. So I asked Ms **** how long she leaves her car parked for and she said 1-2 weeks. So I informed her that when you park warm rubber car tires directly on top of small Crackseal lines for that long in 35 degree weather it will stick to your tires. All of this was explained to Ms **** multiple times. I never told her not to park in her driveway as that would be unreasonable. I simply told her to not park directly on the lines in above 30 degree weather or it will stick to her tires. This is exactly what she did the same day I told her this. I have photo evidence. Also her statement about me never responding to her call in august is false because i was in America on holidays and my phone did not work which I explained to her as soon as I got back. Also the only reason that our last phone call turned nasty is because Ms **** yelled at me very inappropriately and told me that “******* ** ******* ****** *** ***” I need to “**** ** *** ***** ***** ***”, When I told her I could not she hung up the phone. Throughout this entire situation and “nasty” phone call I was 100% kind, helpful, and respectful. I did everything in my power to please Ms **** and I was hired because I did her neighbours driveway which they were very pleased with, not because she wanted to “give me a shot”

    I am rejecting this response because: Most of what Kris has said is NOT true!! He did NOT come to my house 5 times to do 'repairs'!! He was here maybe 2- 3 times after the initial coating!! AND I did NOT park my car on my driveway for at least 2-3 days after he cleaned my tires and did a repair of the cracks!! He told me right from the beginning that I only had to wait 24 hours BUT I CHOSE to wait 2-3 days!! He was in 'America' he says when I called him in August.....he NEVER called me back after I called him in August!! I called him again in October and that is when I became upset with him....NOT before!! I will add that I became upset with him because of his attitude with me....he was VERY unprofessional!! Yes, I realize he is just a kid but he has ALOT to learn about customer service!! I am asking that he do the right thing and refund my money....ALL of it!! My driveway is now a 'mess' with moss coming up everywhere and I've been told by 2 paving companies that it would be a waste of money for me to pay to have this job done over as the sealant would NOT adhere to it now that he has created this 'mess'!!!

    I am very sorry that this dispute has come this far. I am 100% sure that everything I included in my first response is 100% truthful and accurate. I visited her house at least 5 times and yes she did wait 2-3 days after the very first sealcoat on the driveway, (which has nothing to do with the problem) she did not listen when I told her to not park directly on the small crackseal lines in the summer heat, she did the opposite of what I told her would fix the problem and blamed me for it. The driveway is not a mess and in no way have I ever had a bad attitude with Ms ****. I was respectful and professional throughout our entire business transaction. There was even a professional asphalt estimator that came to look at her driveway on my behalf and told Ms **** the same thing I have been telling her, that there is no issue and everything I told her is true. I did the job I was payed to do and I did it well. I went above and beyond my duty and stand by my work 100% with confidence and a clear conscience. I will not be giving a full refund as Ms **** got what she was quoted on and payed for. I would also like to add that Ms **** continues to ****** me via text message, phone call, and voicemail.

    I am rejecting this response because:Almost everything Kris has said in his reply is a ***! I have called him ONCE last week and I did NOT ****** him! This is my FIRST call to him since last October! And I have NEVER ******ed him! No one from a paving company has EVER come here on his behalf! That I did NOT listen to him is ALSO a blatant ***! The sealant is crumbling EVERYWHERE and moss is coming up through this MESS that he created! This is happening not just where I have parked! Why does he not come and see my driveway now?! This young man tries to sound so 'sweet' and caring but in reality he is just a **** who does NOT know his business! I fully expect this to go nowhere, however I'm asking Kris to do the RIGHT thing and refund my money! ALL of it!!        'Doing the right thing when it's the hardest is the closest measure to who you are'........This boy really needs to work on his customer service skills!

    I am rejecting this response because: I have NEVER been 'aggressive' with this young man! Kris is a **** and he knows it! I would NOT want this boy on my property to do anything! I'm just asking him to do the right thing and return my money! ALL of it!! And by the way, the new owner of the house next door to me have also told me that what Kris did last summer on that driveway was indeed VERY shoddy work! They now have to put in a NEW driveway! I would also add that I do NOT think that Kris is the person replying to these emails because it does NOT sound like him at all!

    I am rejecting Ms ****s response because all she can do is call me a **** and continue to bash me. She continues to make points and disrespect my character when it has nothing to do with the matter at hand. I was always courteous, kind, and very helpful and willing to work the situation out with Ms ****. Instead of listening to the professional advice I gave her that would have fixed the problem she decided to yell at me and report me to the BBB without any explanation. I would have continued to be patient and help my costumer the best that I could so that a refund wasn’t needed. However she decided not to listen and to try to ***** *** ****** *** ******
