    August 2023 was the date of the transaction. I paid $5000 in cash. They promised to publish my book. They kept on promising, and the deadlines kept on creeping until they have stopped answering calls about the book. Until now no book has been received.

    Dear BBB

    We would like to provide an update regarding the status of this clients project.

    The production of the clients book is currently in progress. As the book includes custom illustrations, which require time and creative effort to develop, we have maintained ongoing communication with the client throughout the process.

    We would like to inform the BBB that the final illustration was shared with the client on April 9th, 2025. A screenshot of the email correspondence confirming this has been attached for reference.

    Once the client reviews and approves all illustrations, we will be pleased to move forward with the compilation and final formatting of the manuscript.

    It is also important to note that, despite receiving timely updates and deliverables (except for the month of March 2025 where the illustrations could not get rendered due to some technical issues on our end), the client posted a negative review on the BBB platform.

    We have made multiple courteous requests for her to revise the review in light of the progress made, but unfortunately, those requests have been declined.

    We remain fully committed to completing the project in a timely manner, contingent on receiving prompt feedback and approvals from the client.

    Dear BBB

    We are not rejecting the customer's response. If the customer thinks that we have to make some more edits in the book before she gives out her approval, then we'll surely honor that.

    Also, we are fully committed to get this book done as soon as possible but with client's approval and satisfaction.

    1 Date of Transaction: 4-6-23.2 Amount paid to business: $12,777.00.3 What the business committed to provide me: To assist me in writing my book by doing the following: To edit, proof-read, typesetting, book cover design, and publish the book. Plus set up a website with SEO, press releases, and social media marketing.4 The business did nothing. The edited versions of the book they sent me did not look any different than what I sent them. It contained multiple errors, grammar errors, typos, spelling errors, and it was not in final form. I asked them several times to fix it and they did not fix it. They kept sending me more copies of works with multiple errors and only sent me back what I originally sent them. They never set up my website or provided any marketing services. Then, they would ask me for more money.5 I emailed and called them several times asking them to rectify the problem. They kept asking for more time and when they sent me a copy of the book it still was not completed and it still contained multiple errors.6 No account #. They only put invoice numbers on all of my invoices.7 No, this matter does not involve advertising.

    Dear BBB

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

    We would like to clarify that the client in question expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of work provided. As a result, All the payments made by the client except for one were duly refunded in 2023. The refund process was carried out in good faith and in a timely manner.

    We respectfully request that the BBB consider closing this complaint, as the clients concerns were acknowledged and addressed appropriately, and the agreed-upon refund was issued.

    Additionally, we would like to correct the client's claim regarding the total amount paid. While the client states that she paid $ *********, our records show that the actual total payment received was $ ********. Of this amount, $ ******** was refunded to the client. It is important to note that the client began requesting a refund before the work commenced. Following a series of discussions, a mutual agreement was reached for a pro-rated refund, which was then processed accordingly.

    For your reference, we have attached screenshots that provide confirmation of the refund transactions.
