Big O tires mechanical division performed work on February 13 and February 23 ***************************************** 2010 **** ****. Total bill from dealer was ******** plus ****** in customer supplied parts. After service was completed and parts installed, the initial problem was not resolved . On March 11, dealer was contacted regarding air compressor pump leaking oil. Dealer denied any responsibility and said it was customer fault for not getting additional unessecary work done and suggested more parts should have been replaced without providing test results showing other parts were defective. Basically, the lack of diagnostic abilities and disinformation that system was contaminated is the primary cause of system failure after work was done.

    Hello

Sorry we have to deal with this situation.

The customer supplied his own parts and dictated the front counter and the mechanic what he wanted to be done to the vehicle. At two different times he was advised differently to address the issue. And the notes were made on the invoice for the record. The customer still wanted to go with his own opinion and denied the suggestions which were made in his and his vehicles interest.

As a good gesture the customer was not charged for 3 hrs labor we had to put in for extra work in addition the customer was not charged for a discharge and a recharge which is another $150 cost.

The customer was very well informed via verbal conversations and discissions beforehand of the job and possible results but DENIED the mechanic's analysis. See attachment.

Thanks for getting in touch with me. Please update me with this situation.

    Regards

    Nick S***** (Owner)
