We signed a contract which we were not given a copy of and completed the 1st 4 training sessions cost $681.45. ****** has since informed us the contract says training must be completed three months from date of payment. Then we were told by ****** we would need further training sessions for our dogs. We paid for an additional 10 training sessions on September 26, 2023 total amount came to $1176.00. we completed 2-4 of the remaining training sessions which had been moved outdoors and then the weather changed and we got a big snowfall. I texted ****** the owner and sole trainer at Urban K9 on November 15, 2023, texting is the only way she will contact her customers. I wanted to confirm the training during the poor weather. She replied to me that she would be canceling all further training until after the Christmas season. ****** told me she would resume training in the spring when the poor winter weather was over and the outdoor conditions improved. We had no further contact from her even though I texted her over **** and again this spring. Never got any reply. She claims to have tried to contact us but we never received any texts from her and no replies to any of our texts to her. Last week I texted her again to inquire about our outstanding balance and ask if we could exchange the training sessions for dog food. I am scheduled for a full knee replacement surgery and my husband had a shoulder injury so we could not physically complete the training. No reply. My husband went to the business on June 24, 2024 to ask about our balance and to ask if we could exchange it for dog food. ****** said we had three months from date of purchase to complete the training and that there would be no refund or exchange. Three months from September 26, 2023 puts us at December 26, 2023 Boxing Day. ****** cancelled the training due to poor weather and the Xmas season and said to us that we could complete our training in the spring. Now she refuses to refund our money or exchange it.
