Poor service, took my 2018 ***** *** to this shop after confirming they could service. Spent $250.84 for an oil change. Drove 15 km's and warning light came on "Oil. level below min, refill now with max. 1.2 l oil, stop driving". Called the shop, they said bring the vehicle back, turned around in Surrey on my way to my parents in ** to return. The attendant said he put more oil in and said should be good, no apologies no nothing. Drove car back towards ** and again, the oil measurement warning display came on, initially saying max 1.0 l refill oil, possible to drive and 12km's later the display "oil level below min. Refill now with max 1.2l oil, stop driving". Called the shop and they said, we put more oil in and bring it back so flippantly it was upsetting, again no apologies. Drove to Lordco, bought 1 litre of full synthetic oil for another $18, added as per display and no issue. Obviously these guys dont know what they're doing and too cheap to add the correct amount of oil. Terrible service and then mentioned brakes were near service levels and provided a quote for brake pads only for front and rear. Too concerned about making a sale, not enough care and attention to doing what service already been paid for. I will not return and buyer beware of these unprofessional group of people

    Thank you for your feedback.
As per our records, the vehicle was brought in for an oil change on April 7, 2025. During the service, we replaced the engine oil and oil filter in accordance with the owners manual, which specifies that the car requires 8 liters of oil. This is the amount we added during the oil change.
As part of our standard 21-point inspection, which is included in the service package, we also checked the brakes which were found to be low and inspected all other fluid levels, topping them up as needed.
After the service, the customer left with the vehicle. Approximately 30 minutes later, we received a call from the customer stating that the oil warning light was on and the dashboard was indicating that 1.2 liters of oil were still needed. We immediately asked the customer to return so we could inspect and top up the oil.
These vehicles do not come equipped with a traditional dipstick, so the only way to check the oil level is through the digital gauge on the dashboard. Upon the customers return, we verified the gauge, which also showed a need for 1.2 liters of oil, and we topped it up accordingly. As part of our commitment to customer care, we offer two free oil top-**** which this visit fell under.
Later, we received a third call from the customer stating the dashboard was still indicating that an additional 1 liter of oil was required. This was surprising, as we have not experienced this issue before with this type of vehicle. We advised the customer to return once more for the top-up.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Because these vehicles lack a manual dipstick, the system sometimes requires time to recalibrate and reflect the correct oil level after a top-up. Please rest assured we are doing everything possible to ensure the vehicle is running safely and to the manufacturers specifications.

    Thanks

Yes, this is unfortunate. When my wife called and spoke with whomever at Valvoline, the response was we ask people to drive their cars around to make sure the right level of oil was provided is a very poor response. I specifically called prior to taking our vehicle in and was told, yes we can service Macans' and do it all the time. In our years (7 yrs) of owning this vehicle, not once have we been shortchanged with oil in this vehicle. The fact that we were told to return twice as flippantly as we were, is upsetting enough let alone the incompetency of your outfit. We have never had to return once to any oil change service provided previously, not once! Not only were we asked to return to top up the oil which the 2nd visit my wife was on her way to ********** and had already turned around previously in ********** to return, it was evident not the correct amount of oil was added because we purchased another 1 litre of full synthetic oil for $20 and once added, the normal level was indicated. This service did not put the correct amount of oil in my vehicle, plain and simple. We spent the $250 for a full synthetic oil change, had to return once from **********, had to spend another $20 for oil to bring up to proper operating levels. We will not return; we will not advocate our friends or my colleagues nearby to use this service and we will explain to our friends what happened. I would have expected a reputable service center to own their mistake, make us whole and try and earn our business back. None of this occurred and we will be informing others of our experience
