    Contrary to the previous review ******* *, our strata has been extremely happy with Silver Lining. Their employees are well mannered, friendly and genuinely care about their work. The owner is attentive to the buildings needs and follow the direction of the council. It is important to remember that one residents demands are not necessarily everyones. Thank you Silver Lining for keeping our site in too shape!

    This company is TERRIBLE. When hired initially, the manager asked residents what they wanted, with myself and my neighbors clearly stating privacy from the street with the evergreens was top priority. Regular maintenance is needed and welcome, but often then just "dialed it in" by making noise with the blower weekly, but some areas were neglected for months or years. They disrespected residents repeated requests and went ahead and overcut the large evergreen ****** at the worst possible time, when heavy construction for a new building was underway directly across the road. DO NOT HIRE this company, you will regret it and they overprune. It may take years for your evergreens and privacy to grow back, if at all.

    This complaint is completely false and it is someone that is taking their anger out on us because we were doing our jobs. This person does not understand that the grounds at a strata are common property, this means that they can not dictate what is done around their unit and do what they please. This person does not understand that we have to follow what the council has asked us to do, which is to keep the grounds looking uniform. This person does not want any pruning done around their unit, but plants are starting to grow into each other, some plants are killing other plants because of the lack of light, etc. We will always do what is right for the plants and the landscape, not because a particular resident wants it their way. We have always done what the council has asked and they speak very highly of us. We were hired because the council saw the great work that we do across the street at a neighboring building. Please do not believe this review, if you would like to see some of our many good reviews, I can supply those to you. This is the first negative comment left in 16 years of service.Thank you sincerely Silver Lining Landscaping
