    Our condo strata recently hired Werner Smith Mechanical Inc. for a project in our building, and the experience was extremely disappointing. When their contractor arrived at my home, the first words out of his mouth were, Do you speak any English at all?a blatantly racist and unprofessional remark.This behavior was especially distressing given that we were already dealing with the hardship of a water shutdown in our unit. With a newborn baby at home and my wife, who is a breastfeeding mother, struggling with postpartum depression, this added unnecessary stress and worsened an already difficult situation.I am appalled that a company hired by our strata would exhibit such behavior. I have requested both an apology from Werner Smith Mechanical Inc. and that our strata take this incident into consideration when renewing any contracts. I strongly discourage others from using their services if you expect respect and professionalism.
