      I have been in business over 30 years. When my regular bookkeeper took a medical leave that soon went from to 3 months to indefinite, I needed to hire someone quickly, and I went to the most prominent firm in my small town.
      I consider that a quarterly P&L statement and a balance sheet is the basic minimum to expect of a bookkeeper.
      This firm was very expensive, and after over $6000 in fees the bookkeeper they gave us to work with had failed to provide a reliable P&L or balance sheet for our year end.
      The owners were not responsive to my concerns and did not demonstrate any interest in resolving the problems. A terrible experience.
