Our family paid Andrew's Home Renu $3754.24 up-front for a bathtub insert on in the spring of 2023. We were promised the work would be done in 2-3 days (their website claims a 24hr turn around) but they were late starting work (began in June, 2023) and then proceeded, without approval from us, to install the wrong tub insert. They insisted that they could make it work but this caused a cascade of issues that led to a leak that left water trapped between the old tub and the liner (I can provide a video where you can hear water swashing around when stepping in the tub). The leak spread to our basement and caused damage to the ceiling. This drama, along with issues with all of the finishing work they did, unfolded over the next 6 months. We gave Andrew's Home Renu the opportunity to try and fix the situation but they kept sending the same worker who caused the issue to fix it and we eventually discovered they had drilled the drain to make the plumbing work for the wrong tub, which caused the leak. This, combined with the overall poor workmanship on all of the work done by the company, compelled us to ask for a full refund. ****** agreed to provide a refund in mid November 2023 (I have an email confirming this dated November 17, 2023). Since then, ****** has refunded a total of $3000 between November and February and he still owes us $754.24. Since the last payment we received in February, we have contacted ****** eight times through mail asking for the remainder or our refund. Since February, ****** has said ***** issues have been preventing him from issuing the remainder of our refund and he has kept breaking his commitments to settle the refund. The last email I received from him was on April 15, 2023 saying he was going to try and send the money in the following week but this has not happened and he has stopped responding to emails. We simply want the remainder of our refund back.
