They came to our home and put poison boxes at various locations. Their method did not work. Mice are still running in our home. They did not get rid of mice. We still have mice in our home. Now, they want more money. They are not doing any hard work. What they are doing is not labor intesive or time consuming. They hardly spend a few minutes to put those light weight boxes. There is no hard work involved, nor it is time consuming. The problem is not yet resolved. They have charged us very high charges. They told me where the mice are coming from and I asked for a letter that I can take it to strata. After telling many times in last more than 4 months, finally, they sent me a letter about a gap below the wall. I will take this to strata and see what they say. However, the amount of time they took to give me that letter, it sounds like it may not be the right underlying cause that brings mice in our home. They did not inform us during their initial visits that they are not going to solve the problem if that gap between the wall and the carport floor is not closed. They did not assess this problem. If they had told me than I would not asked them to do pest control. If they had told me this reason in beginning, I would have got that problem resolved first, before I had to spend almost four hundred dollars to get rid of mice from them. Please call me if you have any questions. Thank you.

The Mice control inside a dwelling is a 2 step process.
      1. Control or get rid of the mice which are already inside
      2. Close off or block entry of new ones from outside

The customer complained about the service charges, this is to clarify that fees we charge are for the first step. At the same time our expert inspects, identifies any possible entry points and informs the clients to get these fixed to prevent continued or future infestation.

In this case, on Sep 16, 2023, the mice control set up was applied and at that time an opening in the front door screen was noted which was communicated to the customer (verbally and in writing through payment receipt). However, as promised in the service protocol, on Oct 13, 2023 and Nov 23, 2023, two times the technicians visited the location. Significantly reduced activity was noted and the bait stations where mice had consumed the bait were refilled to get rid of any remnant mice.
On the next visit, on Dec 11, 2023, the technician found a possible entry point in the garage where it needed to be fixed with concrete and a new door strip needed to be installed on the storage room door. The customer wanted it in writing to talk to strata so the report was provided as was the opening in front door screen communicated after the first visit.

Addressing the points raised by the customer the following need to be kept in mind:
      1. All jobs in this world are not hard or labor intensive but may cost far more than what we charge. Every business or profession has its own fee structure which is explained to the client before service and is comparable to similar services but not to others.
      2. The fee for pest control includes service charges, experts time, cost of material used, cost of office support, the taxes, etc. *********** charges are paid to control/manage existing pests, obviously any continued or new infestation would need further intervention, meaning more cost.
      3. The rodents are part of the natural ecosystem, thrive and proliferate at a fast speed outside, and may not stick to only one entry point; if it is blocked they can find or make another opening accessible. New activity may be noticed. In a townhouse complex the mice can enter from any unit, travel through walls, adjoining attics and other connected structures. (Can we blame the builder who constructed the house in the first place, if the cement settles down creating a space enough for mice to squeeze through?) The situation has to be addressed as it develops and clients pay per required service, be it a preventive measure or a control service.

I am rejecting this response because: As explained in the attachment, they have overcharged me and they did not notify me that they were not capable of bringing the results that I had asked them to produce meaning get rid of mice.

      Sincerely,
