      Our experience was traumatic! Phil visited our home to
      give us an estimate. The first plumber arrived before the estimate did. I asked
      again/no response. The second plumber arrived days later to do the shower
      install (still no estimate). He announced that the work the first plumber did
      was all wrong and had to be completely redone. He assured us that we would not
      be charged for the work that the first plumber did. During the shower install
      the second plumber broke two separate pieces of our $1,000.00 shower head and
      the job was delayed twice waiting for the parts. We were given the bill by the
      second plumber before the job was completed and he assured us it was all
      inclusive of what was done, what still needed to be done, and did not include
      billing for the incorrect plumbing. I paid the bill by writing my credit card
      information on the invoice and giving it to the plumber.

      11 days later (Dec 31st, job still not complete) the
      second plumber called me to tell me the invoice with my credit card information
      on it had been lost. Apparently, the bookkeeper was blaming him and he wanted
      my credit card info again and wanted to pop by New Years eve to get it. I told
      him I would like them to look for it and I would get back to them after New
      Years Day. I put a hold on the credit card. I was contacted by Michelle (office
      person and wife of the owner Phil) and she asked for my credit card information
      again. I told her I had put a hold on the card and would like them to have a
      good look for it and I would be paying by alternate method. She said it would
      be a pain in the butt to look for it and called me the most profane insult [ f.
      c.] I’ve ever heard! I hung up and she phoned me again twice leaving messages
      and texts calling me ignorant and accusing me of trying to get out of paying my
      bill. They threatened us with collections including for the work that was done
      wrong. We paid by cheque to get rid of them and the work remains unfinished.
      They were unprofessional, rude and scary.

      We contacted Baker Plumbing
      (Corey C) to replace our water heater. He showed up in a timely manner, polite, informative, extremely efficient and pleasant to deal with. All around excellent service.
      Highly recommend for quality work at reasonable rates.

      These fellows can fix anything to do with your plumbing issues with expert and precise accuracy.
      They have done a lot of work for my family and I over the years, highly recommended!!
      Reliable and friendly. I always feel confident that everything is done properly. I've tried several other places over the years, I will only call on these fellows and one other that is nearby if needed. I trust these guys to do it right. Absolutely.

      We are a gay couple who contacted Baker Plumbing to replace the main water line from the street to our house. We are not only very disappointed at the quality of service we received from them, but alarmed and disgusted at the blatant violation of our home, the homophobia we experienced, and their continued unprofessional response.
      Poor Quality of Work
      - The work took a week longer than quoted
      - Their digging broke our lanterns and killed all of our mature plants along the path
      - They discarded garbage and broken tools around our yard (and did not clean it up)
      - They widened the path to our front door without telling us this would be done
      - Their job required us to hire a landscaper and hardscaper ($1000) to clean up the mess they had made (above and beyond the path reworking anticipated) privacy, invasion and homophobia
      - Phil, the owner of Baker Plumbing, showed up unannounced on our doorstep a month after completion of work to hand-deliver the bill (they had not emailed or mailed a bill)
      - On our doorbell camera, we heard Phil say “************* ************ * **** *** *** ****”
      - The video also showed that Phil had looked in our front window (blinds were closed), and we have video and audio of him saying “* *** *** *** ******* ****** ** ****** ************”
      - We told them not to contact us again or come to our home: they continued to contact us via text and email
      Phil’s retaliation
      -We paid the bill within 24 hours of having received it. We left a 1-star review due to their poor work, the extra costs we had to pay to clean up after them, and because Phil had called us slurs and violated our privacy.
      -We emailed Phil to confront him about his homophobic language. Baker Plumbing called us “slanderous”
      -They then posted 4 x 1-star reviews on our B&B’s google listing. They have never been guests.
      The message we are getting from him is loud and clear: * **** *** ****** ** **** * ** *** **** ***** ** *** ***** ******* ***** *** *** ** ******** ***** ******** ** *****
