      Stand by generator bought from them and installed from them. It never worked it cost $****. They acknowledge it never worked. And will not refund me because their suppliers will not refund them. All this happened from Feb 2022 to date. They left me all winter without power and I live off grid and heavily rely on back up generator power. They installed my solar system which I paid $****** for and I wanted them to install and select the correct generator. During the winter without power I was recovering from cancer surgery and they knew about this and I was unable to physically do anything. They left me in a vulnerable state and did not help me as eventually took the generator away left it in their warehouse untill Jan 2023 and then eventually returned it to their supplier total power in *******. I had to contact the supplier to get them to do something. I now have no generator and no refund and a refusal to refund. Nothing has been done by Kootenay solar the generator is still sitting at the suppliers. Which they fixed only because I contacted them during my recovery to investigate. Timeline 2022 Feb paid money to Kootenay solar.****** May generator delivered****** Oct installed by ************************* co owner of Kootenay solar... 2022 November Generator will not start. ****** Dec Kootenay Solar return generator to TOTAL POWER IN *******...I am told it will be repaired but their engineers told me they always break down the *** generators. I wait patiently for responses and nothing is done until I contact them in May 2023 and explain about my health status...they suddenly fix it..and ****** copies me in in emails acknowledging it never worked and apologized....I continue to hear nothing ...then in ********************* send a long email outlining innacurate timelines and saying he will not refund me....I Just want a REFUND. Thank you for listening *****....receipts Gmail and bill of Laden attached detailing Kootenay solar as my retailer supplier for generator.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Please can you resolve close the above case. As discussed by telephone earlier today. Stu and Kootenay solar agreed to install the generator at no extra charge as soon as possible.
