  We are an electrical contractor in the ******** area and have completed 2 projects for Fulcal 6 months ago. We have not been paid for our work and we know that Fulcal has been paid by their customers. I have contacted Brook from ********************** a few times and when he answers his phone or responds to the emails he only has excuses for not paying. We have not been informed of any deficiencies that we need to address so I am left to assume that they just don't want to pay the bill.**********************************************Kamloops BC

  I got 3 quotes for siding. Fulcal was lowest by a few hundred.But they got their quote wrong and needed me to spend an extra I got 3 quotes for siding. Fulcal was lowest by a few hundred.But they got their quote wrong and needed me to spend an extra $900 on plywood.They removed siding and then didnt show up for 8 days. They came on a Sunday unannounced to add plywood and paper. It then took two weeks and some emails and calls from me to get siding mostly on.Fulcal left garbage and wood and nails all over my lawn for more than week. I had to email to get it removed, their excuse was they were unaware and out of town. Three days of work took more than a month to complete.If i could give zero stars i would. They want payment up front, leaving the buyer zero recourse. These guys are either **** *** ****** contractors or s*** at estimating. Zero communication, zero committment to customer service.I should have gone with ******** or ****************.

  Dear Customer,We value your feedback and are sorry that you did not have a particularly good experience with Fulcal Construction Ltd. All feedback, both good and bad, help us to grow our young company.Upon removing your old siding, we found that your exterior wall was sheeted with only fibre board and 1 sheet of plywood on a 350 sq' wall. We brought this to your attention and gave you our recommendation. This was to over sheet the entire wall and gables with 1/2" plywood. You agreed, and we carried on the work with a change order in place.We take full blame for the project taking longer than anticipated. One of the framers working on your project was evacuated from his house for 3 weeks due to forest fires, setting yours and many other project back. Working weekends was our way to try to make it up to clients and to get their projects back on track. We are sorry for our unannounced work schedule.We have also never asked a client to pay for their entire project upfront. We ask for a deposit, and then have a payment schedule that will change project to project depending on size. You paid the deposit, then when a progress payment was invoiced, you paid the entire remaining project amount. The progress invoice sent to you clearly shows the amount due was just for the 2nd instalment.Let us know if there are any other concerns you would like us to address.
