    I hired this person/company in Aug/23 as a general contractor, he said he was new to it, from HVAC; didnt say he wasnt licensed. He made a plan for my budget of $70k w/no formal contract. He said we should be able to do all on my list, except ************ budget would change based on my choices. Budget included: ngas furnace/AC, reno 2 bathrooms, laundry rm, incl moving walls, windows, int/exterior doors, replace dining rm window w/French doors, vinyl floors, appliances, fence, replace insulation/poly in crawlspace, patio, w/strs, plumbed w/ngas, fix flashing on roof, ngas fireplace, remodel hall, replace wood soffits w/aluminum.I said whats in this for you? He said I just really want to save you money, get this job done for you & of course, Ill charge you 10% markup ************* Ive gotta make money somewhere. I trusted him & agreed. I did @ least 95% of demo myself. The kitchen became part of project, I added $24k to budget. *** had subcontractors for the kitchen, electrical, plumbing, ******************* often didnt communicate/miscommunicated w/subcontractors, didnt pull permits for plumbing/ngas, but said he would/had. He said didnt need permits for plumbing or the reno because it was existing, not a new build. I thought that to be true, trusted him. The electrician got a permit.I paid out of pocket for appliances, light/bathroom fixtures, mirrors, windows, doors; he didn't adjust the budget. At one point, he said I'd pd $68k, I thought Id pd more. I totalled my pymnts, there was a big discrepancy. I showed what I paid to date & where I thought it went, based on his texts, calls, written updates, it was roughly $80k. He said he lost $6800 of my money & said we should split the difference! Nothing was complete @ that point. I got no invoice, bill, stmnt, except rough estimates on blank paper. I fired him then.     The owner was paid over 17,000 in full for a furnace and central air and its components. Wes left in march without returning to hook up the centeral air unit, the hot water tankless system and thermostat .. calls have gone un answered and the one call four months later was excuses of busy, and promises made to complete work and again nothing was done .

    This client was to call when his yard was repaired from the floods in Merritt and book the ac install, he call 2 weeks ago demanding AC install immediately. We are currently booking 3-4 weeks out due to staff shortage, equipment availability and how busy it is in Kamloops/Merritt with he temps above 30 degrees. We told him we would install thew ac as soon as possible but it would be 3-4 weeks. He left an aggressive message *********** us if we didnt come right away.

    I am rejecting this response because: this is another false claim by Wes at Norkam Mechanical . My yard was

    not even a factor in the work that had to be done. I have been ignored and waited since March with no response. This is unacceptable as a customer i can not believe the excuses and lies and lack of professionalism and customer service. I want it in writing the date in which the air central air unit, thermostat, grate, air intake etc will be compleated not an estimate or empty promise. I waited four months as far as i am concerned there no more excuses and lies. If i do not receive a written contract of the date and time and itemized list and agreed upon such date i will be forced to place a lean against Norkam Mechanical Group and or Norkam quality heating and any such company vehicles and machinery used and owned by such cimpanies and a cuvil lawsuit for the cost of the remainder of the monies owed to me by Norkam Mechanical Group and or Norkam Quality heating as wand such properties will be seized by a court apointed Balif and the Kamloops RCMP. 
     I am forced to do as such and have been advised by my legal team at ****** ***. My lawyer **** ****** will be acting on my behalf if no such contract is presented by end of tomorrow in writing and compleated no later then a week from monday. Thank you ,
