    ******** customer service and scammers. Especially in the services department. Has gone seriously downhill since the new owners and/or management has taken over. All they care about is money and do not care about customer service what so ever. AVOID ********************** at all costs. I am going to be trading in my *********** I purchased from Kamloops Kia (had multiple issues noted 2 days after driving off their lot, they clearly dont fix their used cars) for a telluride but I will go to Kelowna to purchase as I will not give Kamloops Kia my money of business due to their horrible customer service, and the horrible new people running the service department. When I purchased my *********** I was told free oil change for life. Was not presented a contract to sign, was not told about any circumstances to follow to get free oil changes for life. Tried to bring my vehicle in for my Oil change as I have the last 3 years with NO issues, now theres new owners and all Of a sudden I have to spend ***** in other unneeded services to get my feee oil change, claiming theres a contract, ( I never signed) so shouldnt be held responsible for their mistakes. Rather than caring about keeping a customer, they did nothing to fix it or remedy it. they just want my money. Also charge ridiculous amount to tell me I needed a new hood senser: which I already knew. And then were going to charge me another ridiculous amount to tell me why my oil was leaking and I said I didnt wanna pay the 200 something cause I already paid over 200 to tell Me my sensor was broken which I knew, so he wouldnt even look into why my oil is leaking.. what kind of messed up customer service is that: when you take your car anywhere else they tell you whats wrong for FREE and give you a quote. Tell everyone you know to boycott this horrible business.

    Regarding the free oil change for life program, we have confirmed (and have the singed copies) that you agreed to at the time of purchase that clearly outlined the terms and conditions of this program. This includes maintaining your vehicle according to the manufacturers recommended service schedule. As per our records, this agreement was fully explained to you, and your signature is on file acknowledging these terms.
    We understand that you are dissatisfied with the enforcement of these conditions, but unfortunately, the policy is clear: regular maintenance is required to continue receiving complimentary oil changes. While we made an exception on prior visits, your continued refusal to complete the necessary maintenance has unfortunately voided the terms of the program. We do not take this decision lightly, but we must enforce the program's terms as they are outlined.
    As for the other services, we always strive to provide accurate diagnostics and transparent quotes. We understand that the recommendations may not have been what you expected, but these were made based on the condition of your vehicle, and we stand by the assessments made by our technicians.
    While we regret that our approach did not align with your expectations, we are confident that the actions weve taken are in line with our policies and the agreements in place. We would be happy to discuss the matter further if you would like, but please note that our policies are non-negotiable in this case.

    First of all, this response just shows your horrible customer service and the way you speak to clients and customers and why your ratings on here are so horrible. Firstly, made exceptions prior dont get it twisted what so ever, it was NOT explained to me at purchase nor was it EVER explained to me at any times when I brought my vehicle in for service that there was a maintenance schedule or the costs. It was explained in an EMAIL this month, 3 years AFTER I purchased my vehicle, so if expectations were being made, as you claim, it was not being told to me.. and there was no refusal on my part for the 3 years Ive had my car and brought it there.. once again, it was NOT explained to me at any point other than an email last month when I tried to book a service. Furthermore; $1800 for a service to change fluids? I got all this done somewhere else for 1/4 of that. Like that is insane and no one would pay that to get a free oil change. The only time I ever REFUSED as you claimed to follow your schedule was when she told me in an email the cost. other than that, I have never once been told. Not even when I purchased, I also have the documents. Again, spinning the story in your favour. It isnt that the recommendations are not what I expected LOL.. I can expect to pay for services, however, what I didnt expect was the PRICE you charge for diagnostics WITHOUT even fixing the issue. No where else charges someone 200+ dollar to say your hood sensor needs to be replaced uhh ya I told you that the light was on and the sensor was broken so I know it needs to be replaced, I was asking HOW MUCH to replace it .. but instead of telling me and then charging me 200+ dollars to replace it.. you told me it needed to be replaced, charged me 200+ dollars to tell me that and then didnt fix it and told it was gonna cost 200+ on top of the money I paid you to tell me what I already knew?? That it was broken?? Thats the definition of robbery and horrible customer service. Good luck.

    Stay away from *** kamloops and *** in general.....I have to warn people of *** and kamloops kia A family member bought a new *** sportage in 2021 with full warranty plus the extra warranty...the started using lots oil around 1 liter per 1600kms.. was told by kamloops kia no warranty..?? *** says that is a reasonable amount of oil to burn For a new vehicle with *****kms and proof of oil change every 5 to 6 k from new... so a 70 year old lady has to add oil by herself between oil changes because if she does not it will run out and kill the motor possibly somewhere in the middle of nowhere or causing an accident..So where in the book and sales pitch does this come into light letting people know yes this is new and will probably use oil in a couple years so make sure you chk oil and add oil between changes .The problems are all over the web with people complaining and dealer does nothing but pushes customers away Good.job **********************.

    Good Afternoon ***** and ****,
    Thank you for reaching out last Friday with the information needed to assist with your inquiry. Ive had the opportunity to review the file, and Id like to provide you with an update.
    The vehicle was purchased new on March 16, 2021. Upon reviewing the records, it appears that while there are some missing maintenance documents,there was an oil consumption complaint noted back in November at ****** km. At that time, the Kia ****** procedure for identifying excessive oil consumption was followed, and the results indicated a pass condition with 400 ml of oil consumed over ***** km, it must be 1l or more to fail.
    Based on the results of the previous test, no further repair or investigation is required at that time. However, if you continue to experience any issues, we are more than happy to perform additional testing to confirm whether there is an underlying problem.
    Please be assured that the vehicle is still covered by its original factory warranty until March 16, 2026, and has an extended warranty until March 16, 2031, or ******* kmwhichever comes first.
    Let me know when a convenient time would be to schedule an appointment for further analysis, if needed.

    I was going to purchase a new vehicle from *** and told they would give me a good deal. That was absolutely a lie. The price changed many times. Make sure you get a copy of what the final costs will be and do not sign the contract until you are absolutely positive of pricing. They tried to give me a price without the details set out. They gave one a price for my trade-in but this also changed on the sales agreement. They tried to charge $1467.00 as a "Placement Fee" to check my credit. Don't get sucked in to this scam. Also another $625.00 for documenting fee which is just a money grab. They saw me as an elderly woman and tried to take advantage of me. Upon checking further on their website the very same vehicle was $6,000.00 less than what they tried to get from me. Very bad actors. Do your homework before dealing with them.

Also, the Placement Fee and documentation fees don't line up with what we actually charge so there is a possible miss understanding.     This dealership is the shining example of the deceitful car dealership. They outright lie. They stuck ** with $7,000 over what was agreed upon, and have not fulfilled their promised obligations. Stay away from this operation unless you have a lawyer attending with you.

    We sat with the customer 3 times to review this deal. Originally, he left happy and content. He returned a few weeks after the sale and made a variety of complaints. After careful review we could not find any issues with the deal. The customer agreed to all numbers and signed a work sheet. The bill of sale that the customer signed supports this as well. When we presented all the information to the customer and showed we did the deal as agreed, he started making wild accusations. None of which fits the character of the people involved or Kamloops Kia. He made up accusations that were totally unfounded. When he explained his health issues, we even offered him solutions to find a different car to help him. Any accusation this customer made is easily refuted by facts. All accusations are without merit and false. I have multiple witness to his behavior and documents that show we acted in good faith.     Previous sales team in 2022 weren't professional and took advantage of too many vulnerable elderly, first time buyers, and out of the customers. When problems of vehicles come up within the given day period, this dealership will do what it takes to hide and cover their tracks.Reasoning for the review:My grandmother went to finance a new or barely used vehicle, was told she was getting a 2021-2022 vehicle on order, was given a 2016 ****** corilla for $34,800 .Price of the car given was $18,800, which then after the paperwork magically increased the sale price of the 2016 corolla to $28,800 not including the sales taxes and fess that should've been included.     After review of the file and conversation with the Business Manager involved, I have discovered:1) The customer came in wanting a vehicle they could not qualify for financing. They desperately needed a vehicle and so they set out to find one that would qualify. Our Business Manager spent a week trying to arrange funding for a vehicle. The vehicle that met the clients TD Non-Prime funding requirements was the 2016 ****** Corolla.2) The purchase price was $24,800 along with a warranty package, tire and rim package, taxes and interest this increased the contract total. Something to note both Warranty and Tire and Rim have been utilized so it was well worth the purchase. 3) We have tried to requalify the customer in a different unit, but they are not in a financial position to qualify. We have had multiple conversations and are always willing to assist when we can.
