Hello,For multiple months now I have requested to do business via email, along with asking for a supervisor to email me on multiple occasions to which I have received no response. I cannot afford phone service, and I cannot afford to call. I have never had a company deny to help by email until now, so I am coming here.I can no longer afford this loan and it is accruing interest daily, further deepening the hole of debt. I have paid off this loan in full more than once and have had this line of credit for either 4 or 5 years. However, I cannot afford this anymore and have paid back way beyond what I ever borrowed. On May 5th, 2025 I obtained a loan from Speedy Cash online. The amount was for $748 with the amount of $852.72 to be paid back on May 16th.On May 16th, I proceeded to pay the amount owing of $852.72. I was in need of an additional loan as often is the case with payday loans. I applied and was approved for $1400 with the amount of $1596 to be paid back in 3 installments of $532. These payments were to be made on May 30th, June 13th, and June ******* midnight on May 16th, an additional $852.72 was automatically withdrawn from my account putting me in a negative balance. This clearly was a technical error as the automatic withdraw should have been disabled since I made the payment earlier that day. Something I needed to do before I could get a new loan.I have emailed multiple times to multiple addresses, I have called everyday, only to find out from an in store associate that the Speedy Cash online department will turn off its phones if it feels it is too busy. I have left several voicemails explaining the situation and asking for them to return my call. It has been a week of me not being able to buy groceries, gas, etc because of this error.I simply wish to have the $852.72 returned to me and to carry out the signed contract that I agreed to.Business Response

I applied for a loan through SpeedyCash online April 12 2025. They then asked for all this information like bank records child tax assessment ext.. everything was giving to them. They then told me that the loan would be finalized once I sent all the information. Its been 3 days and havent heard any response from the company at all. I have tried calling and emailing and havent got anything back. I then asked to cancel the loan April 15 2025 and still have no reply. When they were setting the loan up they replied back right away. Hi there,Only filing a complaint to have a manager respond as when I ask for one, I do not get a manager. I have taken out a loan with this company, have been in constant communication about repaying, however when I gave ample notice about a payment arrangement not being able to go through *** ** **** ********** activity with my bank account, they still put the payment through saying that they need ***** hours to stop the payment. I contacted them in time within the 48 hour timeframe, but was still told that they sent the payment to go through the bank anyways and say it is too late. If it goes through it will go nsf and I will be responsible for these charges. I don't think that is fair since I did my part and let them know ahead of time of my situation.Business Response

The company SpeedyCash pulled a payment that was not an agreed arrangement. SpeedyCash knowingly took $1,193.19 out of $1205.00 *********y Deposit. I had reached out to make payment arrangements, as i need to to get out of the payday loop, which i also said to SpeedyCash, the payday loans are causing issues with funding for legal aid. The company refused my reasonable offer for payments, said they would take $400, i said no that is too much at once( im on a fixed income). i sent an email again with what i can comfortably pay each month to clear the debt without my children or myself having to struggle greatly. When i saw they took my entire *********y today May 31 2023, i tried to reborrow at which point the company is not wanting to reborrow, but has taken my grocery money and rent payment.Business Response

We collected on this file as per standard practices for collecting on an overdue file. We will always work with a customer who is struggling to make payments however we need to have arrangements that work for both the customer and **********************. As this was a payday loan it was due in full on the customers next pay date. Normally, payments are processed by Pre-Authorized Debit. The customer had requested to make her payment by Email Money Transfer on her due date and we accepted this. The payment was not made. The customer then stated she would be making partial payments that would take 6-8 months to pay the loan in full (assuming no payments were missed). Had she made a partial payment on her due date, we may have accepted this arrangement, but no attempts were made by the customer to make a payment. We processed a pre-authorized payment on the next possible day for the missed payment.
As for the application for a new loan. The loan has not been denied BUT the customer is in the negative by $3.19 as per the attached screenshots. The bank may return the payment for insufficient funds. We will be waiting additional business days to ensure the payment clears before can review the loan application. We do not want to overburden the customer by approving another loan and having the existing loan return NSF. This would cause two loans to be owing.
No regulations were broken and no money will be refunded.

I am rejecting this response because:This payday loan was against the amount of $2103.00 ******** for the 20th of the month. Payday loan companies are only allowed to lend up to 50% of the clients income, that way when the payment is taken, it does not cause a financial hardship for customers. You over 90% of my *********y income, which was not what i had loaned against. In the past i had been behind on a payday loan, and because i had borrowed up to 50% of my ********, it was debited from my ******** the following month, as pulling the full amount from my other income would have caused financial hardship. The payment has not reversed in my account, i did try to make a payment arrangement with you, your company refused it, then cut comunitcation. If anything, no more than $400 should have been taken off my *********y cheque, not 100% especially when i did not borrow against that debt, and if i had borrowed against $1205 for *********y that i get monthly, your company again is in the wrong as you would have over lent to me on that debt.

I have reviewed the customer's file and he may have ** confused with another lender. We have not been calling or emailing daily. All work done on this file falls within the provincial regulations.
The customer has sent ** two emails this year, one in February to advise he was filing bankruptcy, we requested more information and never heard back. The second email was this month to complain about ** calling him.This is the only communication weve received from the customer on his file.
To date we have not received bankruptcy documents or any information regarding the trustee to be able to contact them directly.

I took out a 200.00 loan I sent in my pay info once a month on the1 of month my first paymennt for 76.67 came out. July29. Second payment sept 01. 76.67. Now they put final. Payment thru sept 23 which I/did not notice on contract so the 76.67 payment went NSF. Then bank nsf45.00 speedycash wants 101.66 which they should not be infilled to only 76.67. Now I contacted them mind you I was upset who dose that kind stuff. Now. On Oct 3 they tryed taking out another 200.00 from chew acct I want my NSF charges reversed and not to try and take money from my acct I agree that I owe 76.67 nothing, more and I'm willing to pay thatBusiness Response
