Transaction date is June 18 Owing balance says $57,073.23 My ** was taken care of a local shop for winterizing. While it was there during the entire vehicle check,*** inspectors have reported that the ** being brand new and recently bought in June.. *** inspection guys including the owner were extremely surprised/shocked that the ** did not have PDI done before it was sold to me. It did not have proper sealant for all of its window openings and it explains why the Rv got UNBELIEVABLY dusty and even disgusting wet from leaks coming from everywhere. To think this is brand new, no one would ever figure so. Only to find out that it was because there was no proper sealant and the Rv is not weather tight at all, from the windows, to storages. Inside and out.Even underneath the couch that can also be a bed plus under the sink got super wet, and the bathroom got dusts that you wouldn't even know where they came from.Debris went in very easily and it was a total disaster that was actually unbelievable to happen just for having a dusty road during the travel. It wasn't supposed to be like that. It wasn't designed to be as dusty as that, but of course with "No seal situation" of the **, cant protect the inside from all kinds of dirt, water leaks, and actually all kinds of disaster. To restore the ** to its supposedly new condition, It needs 25 hundred dollars AT LEAST,To make / put proper sealant everywhere. It is really in a bad baaad condition right now, looking like way older than a 10yo Rec Vehicle.Even the refrigerator does not work properly. It always opens during the travel and did ruin all of our ready-to-eat foods. And that's on top of the many foods or stocks that we would need until the travel was over. All because of a faulty selling of an ** that is totally against Motor Dealer Act Regulation. No PDI is already brutal.I have more issues about added insurances that were not required. but the finance guy lied about it and took advantage of my long drive.

RE: Email correspondence dated: November 7, 2022.

    Dear ***************,

I am writing this letter in response to the accusations you have made, against my ethics and professionalism in your email dated November 7, 2022.

Your accusations against our ****************** will be addressed in a separate letter.

First and foremost, I would like to apologize to you for any misunderstanding you may be suffering.

I pride myself on the fact that I go to great lengths, and take great measures to ensure that NONE of my customers sign anything before I review ALL details of the agreement with them; as I did with you, and your partner, on or around June 18, of this year.

I will attempt to address each of the points you raised in your aforementioned email, and will assume that your previous employment, at 2 different car dealerships (see attached: 1), will aid in your understanding of the following.

You have accused me of guaranteeing a ****% annual interest rate. Youve claimed that I told you this during a telephone conversation (something, I could never guarantee with the fluctuating ************** prime rate, and dependence on buyers credit scores) But, in your text, dated Oct 5, 2022, where you initially questioned your interest rate, you indicated that you understood you had been approved at an original rate of 7.59%(see attached: 2 & 2a) and that I worked with ********** to lower your rate to ****%, (see attached: 3 & 3a) by your simple response of Okay. (see copy attached).

This interest rate is locked in for the term of your loan (I dont use variable interest rate loans, as interest rates are  notoriously unsteady) Prime is currently ****%, meaning you are only ****% over prime (see attached: 4 & 4a), which is an amazing rate given todays economical environment and your past credit challenges.

You have accused me of fooling and victimizing you,you claim to be a **** person who was taken advantage of, who was rushed into signing legal documents.  Claiming you were in shock, and had no time to react. Despite the fact that you are of legal age, previously and currently employed, and appearing of stable mind and body (In the presence of your partner the person who would know best- if you are incapable of reading and understanding contracts and {not one, but two}optional coverage waivers (see attached: 5 & 6), explained to you at length, that you were unhesitant to sign).

You have accused me of lying. Even though I followed the same process I follow with every client regarding optional coverage of Insurance and/or warranty. Furthermore, I distinctly recall discussing your wanting (optional) Life and ******************** coverage as you - wanted to protect your family in case something happened to you - and you wanted (optional) warranty coverage after I explained the coverage and the price. As a previous employee of the vehicle/RV sales industry you would be aware that Coverage is always Optional and I always state is as such. Let alone the fact that optional is stated throughout the numerous documents you signed.

You have accused me of pushing you to buy $15,000.00 more than agreed, and you had no choice citing the top and bottom lines of your Bill of Sale (see attached: 7). I can only assume that you are referring to the Total finance charge of $13, ******. Which is the total interest calculated on the bill of sale, that the **** would collect over the 5 year term of your loan with them. Interest charged at ****% for 60 months (5 years) is $14,245.87 (see attached: 8). However, this loan is open ended meaning you can pay it out at any time (As we discussed in detail) significantly reducing the interest you would pay should the loan run the full 5 year term (Interest total for such, stated on bank contract at $14,245.87).

You have accused me of not telling you that your optional coverage could be cancelled within 30 days of the contract date, and claim you were too late to get a full refund when you learned how to cancel it 3 months late. Again, I must strongly disagree, you were not mislead in any way.As I do with ALL my customers, I reviewed every pertinent point on every document you signed. Assuming you were an adult, with full faculties, and confirming that you understood each point as I read them with you and explained them to you (and your partner) I believed you knew exactly what you were opting for.

While it is unfortunate that you are struggling to understand the documents, and feeling taken advantage of, and threatening us,I would still be willing to re-review and re-explain everything we previously discussed. I am willing to take whatever time necessary to answer any questions you may have, show you where you signed to confirm that you understood, until you are confident that you understand them completely.

Your request that Butler Auto sales refund you 6 months of bi-weekly payments is respectfully denied.

Your threat to go to MDC is disappointing, in that any future relationship between us will, obviously, be complicated.                           But we are confident that our evidence, and years of satisfied customers will stand us in good stead, and the reasonable people of the MDC will recognize that some people just cant be satisfied.

I look forward to hearing from you, where we might further discuss any concerns you may still have.

    Sincerely,

    L. M****

RE: Email correspondence dated: November 7, 2022.
    Dear ***************,
I am writing this letter in response to the accusations you made against us in your email dated November 7, 2022.
In said email, you report that an unnamed local Shop told you no *** had been performed on your RV. Without documented details, and proof to support this statement, we cam only assume you were mis-informed as no such claim can be made. None of the 122 points on the *** Form can be determined as having not been done, by an inspection after the fact. (See *** example form attached).
Furthermore, your RV was pre-***d on M**** 6, 2022 (shortly after it arrived on our lot) (See work Order ****** attached).
June 24, 2022 (6 days after your purchase on June 18) your RV was Post-***d to ready it for delivery to you. (See work order ****** attached).
You claim insufficient sealant around the windows caused your RV to be dusty ***** you say, this couldnt have been caused by the, admittedly, dusty road you had travelled). Then state that you broke a window, and dont consider that a broken window might allow dust and debris to enter you RV.
You then inform us that your refrigerator opens during travel, and accuse us of selling you a faulty RV which you intend to report to the MDC.
The accusatory, threatening, and, frankly, rude tone of your letter make it clear that you no longer desire to continue a relationship with our company.
The good news is you dont have to.
Your *********************** came with a one year factory warranty, commencing on or around your purchase date. Any authorized ******************** repair facility can perform your required repairs and submit a claim to receive payment. Providing that said claim is submitted before your factory warranty expires on or around June 24, 2023.
Despite having been in business for the last 44 years, we understand that some people cannot be assuaged no matter what we do. Please consider this correspondence our final communication.
We wish you the best, and hope your future outlook and experiences re better than your past.
    Sincerely,

    ****** M****
