I am having issues with this shop not completing the work on my car that needs to be complete in order for it to be drive able again. I dropped my car off at this shop at the beginning of July 2022 to have some performance upgrades done which they said they can do no problem. I have paid over 30’000$ in work and parts since I dropped the car off also. I have all receipts and work orders to prove for also. They ********** ******* ** **** **** **** *** *** make it sound like I will be getting my car back soon but then a whole month will pass by and I will barely have heard from them over that month time period. **** ******** ** ****** ********* ** *** ** ***** *** *****. I have expressed to them multiple times how badly I am needing my car back and they do not seem to understand the repercussions it has on me and my life. I need this business to be held accountable for my loses and they need to finish my car so I can carry on about my life again finally. **** **** ****** ***** **** ***** * ****** ** ******** ** *** ***** ****** * **** ******** * **** ***** **** ** **** *** **** **** ***** ** **** **** ** *** *****

The timeline that this project has taken us is not what we had planned either. In our professional opinion and with respects to the cars that our shop builds, this vehicle required a standalone ECM in order to be completed in a timely fashion with a tune best fitting the modifications completed. Had we received your approval to go ahead with that ECM, and not asked to go about the tune by other avenues, we would have had this car completed many months ago. We have now had to learn new-to-us software that is specific to this vehicle and has never been attempted by us before. It is not a matter of us simply doing the work. We want this car to be completed as well. Everyday this car is here, with our tuner dedicating 7 or more hours a day, we are losing money. We are learning, going back and forth with the company we are now trying to tune it with as well as watching videos and doing readings. This software is new to us and we have been nothing but up front and honest about not knowing how to use this software/program. We are learning as fast as we can since we have been asked to complete a car outside of our methods. Since you have been such a long-standing customer of ours, we agreed to attempt the tune another way. We are not charging for the time it takes to learn this but the sacrifice for not choosing a standalone ECM is time. If time is more crucial than anything else right now, please see below for the quicker ways to accomplish this build:

    1. Revert it back to stock

    2. Bring it to another shop that has worked with the software and may be able to complete it faster than us

    3. Install an accessport. The gauge cluster will have nearly every dash light on, but it will run and drive

    4. Install the standalone ECM as originally suggested

If we can still be allowed more time, we will continue to learn this software but it is not your quickest solution. Our shop wants to see this car through. We are not happy with how long it has taken either and we hate to see our customers upset. This is supposed to be an exciting time, building a fast car. We hope to come to an understanding with you.
