    ****** is still in
the program. ****** is on our "watch list" because ****** is not completing required work and submitting blank documentation. Students are required to listen to transcriptions and type them out, ****** has consistently been submitting reports with nothing in them. Our instructors have been actively working to help ****** as much as possible, including has
sent her a lot of feedback and suggestions for completing her reports.

    She is currently
sitting at *****%, but she still has **% of her grade left. In order to pass
the program, she would need to average *****% or higher on her PIE 3 theory and
    dictations combined.

****** feels as though we are “pushing” her to do more than she
could, however, she is not meeting her weekly requirements as outlined before she enrolled in the program. Our team would never deduct any points from a student for not completing their program on time. Our program is available 24/7 for students and students are allowed to extend their program past their end date for this very reason. Regarding the practicum, it is outlined in the student's contract that they are required to complete a 100-hour practicum that must be completed in four or five weeks; this is because employers require this.

Our instructional department manager personally reviewed her
practicum exam dictations and other dictations throughout her program, which ****** feels she was being harshly being graded
on. ****** received **% on her practicum, and our Instructional Department Manager did not find anything on the reports to indicate she was
being graded harshly. She had a few critical errors and a number of major
errors. She also did not follow the account specifics, which are taught to students from the beginning of the program and is a major reason why a student would fail transcription reports.

Overall, we want to help ****** succeed and believe we are doing everything in our power to help. Our refund policy is outlined in ******'s contract, which is provided to us by the Private Training Institutions Branch. Because of ******'s current location in the program, she would not be eligible for a refund.

I am rejecting this response because: I accidentally submitted blank reports and did redo them. I was given a Medical extension, so the regular time line is not conducive to me.  I was given until the middle of September, and was continously pushed. No idea where they are getting that grade from.

    Sincerely,

****** mentioned to us that he had personal issues arise part way through her practicum, which we actively worked to help her through. In part, ****** was given an extension in her practicum as mentioned. Extensions in the practicum are difficult to implement, as there is a contractual requirement for the student to complete the 100-hour practicum in five weeks, however, our team worked hard to ensure ****** was able to complete the practicum with an extension. There was never an intention to "push" ******, our instructional team worked to provide her tips and assistance to complete her practicum in a timely manner.

Our team would never, and has never purposefully graded a student down because of personal issues. A portion of their practicum grade is, however, based on their productivity and minimum weekly requirements. Our team worked with ****** to help her come as close as possible to the minimum requirements because she received an extension in her practicum. The total portion of the minimum requirements is worth **% of the practicum grading scheme. ******, received full marks for her attendance and meeting the minimum requirements because we understand the issues she was facing. This means that other issues from her practicum were the cause of her not receive the grade she wishes she received. It had nothing to do with her personal life issues, and everything to do with the work being completed in the practicum.

I am rejecting this response because: I do not feel this is accurate, and any time during the course that I would call and ask for help, I was pretty much told to find it on my own. I do not agree that this course was flexible at all with my personal issues. I do not feel I was given any real direction, and suffered mentally because of this throughout the course.

    Sincerely,
