    Wanted $800 just to do an estimate. A simple wheel bearing and transmission fluid change $1800. Total ripoff. Just another crooked car service center.

    Motorwerke is a textbook example of roadside *******. I took our 2012 ******** **** ***** ******* for them to inspect some oil leaks. They quoted over $5000, immediately telling me they wanted to replace the parts near the leaking seals on suspicion ($3000 alone of the quote) instead of just replacing the gaskets and monitoring it going forward. The full quote of recommended maintenance totalled up to $14,987.24 and included multiple duplicates, $71 litre of transfer case oil (other shops in town charge $14-$20) & other ridiculously high charges. I said no to their quote, however they tried double charging me for the additional hour I approved and I had to fight that charge & I walked away paying over $400 for them to look at the car. If the email you send to your customer has to say "** *** **** * ***** ****** **** ****** *** *****!", you are ******* ****** ***. I know cars & they weren’t able to pull one over on me, but if you’re reading this and you send your partner or someone who doesn’t know cars here, they’re going to get ****** *** ** ***** and ****** on the side of the road. Stay Away.
