We had great service from Mike, very friendly & professional, Has very good knowledge of our Trane HVac system!! Because of this we have signed up for their 1 year maintenance offer!! Nice folks working at ''Comfort Tech Heating''.....but a little tooo much up selling.. Rather than repair my A/C (which currently is working fine after a top up of coolant) I was told it should be replaced... $10,000 as compared to $300 for the coolant... Only the future will tell if I made the right decision...Comfort Tech Heating & Cooling

We understand that you are frustrated that we didn't offer to "top up" your refrigerant. Air conditioners are a closed loop system and should never be topped up without finding and repairing the leak in your system. In your case, there was a leak found in the indoor coil that must be repaired to prevent the refrigerant from leaking out again.
Topping up air conditioners (without making a repair) is against Canadian regulations and therefore we did not and would never offer this service. We apologize if this wasn't made clear to you at the time of our visit. We would strongly encourage you to have that indoor coil replaced as soon as possible.
