    I dropped off a pair of $400 steel toe work boots to get new stitching on the toes. I was told 6 weeks for repair. I dropped them off May 12 2003. I paid $63 up front. My boots have not been repaired and he doesn’t answer his phone. Voicemail tells you to email but he does not respond to emails. I’ve been to the store several times to get my boots back and money returned as my service has not been rendered and it’s been 4 months. The store is always closed. I want me boots returned or $400 for new boots plus my $63 paid for the repair. **** ** ********, not only did he take my money but also my boots.

    On March 29, 2023 I left a pair of shoes for replacement of worn heels. Estimated time for repair was six weeks. In mid May I tried to contact Galaxyby phone, e mail and eventually in person. There was no response and after several visits to the shop It was open and I was able to speak to the owner operator. He said he had been ill and therefore was not able to work. I was assured that the repair would be done in two weeks. In two weeks I tried to collect my shoes and after multiple trips to the shop which was closed I again was able to talk to the owner/operator and was told he had had supply issues which were now resolved and I was assured the work would be done in two weeks. After several more attempts to contact the owner/operator and leaving notes in his mail slot all to no avail I contacted the *************** ***************************** to inquire if the business was licensed and if I should be able to retrieve my shoes and the $50.00 prepayment which I had made. They do not get involved in business ethics but they assured me he was licensed. I trust you can be of assistance or at least warn others of his business practices. My next step is to pursue this through small claims court. Thank you.

    Unfortunately I have been extremely ill with a chronic illness. this new chronic disease has taken over my life and I'm doing my best to stay alive and work full time. unfortunately it has taken me a little longer then expected to get jobs done, because of this and material shortage.  I wish I didn't get this illness so I could work all the time, I am only human after all. ***** shoes are ready and he can pick up anytime. I do apologize for the wait, but the fact is my health does come first. If I didn't take the time to heal as beat as I could, I'd be dead today.
