    i have made several attempts today to resolve this amicably. on Nov 25th i purchased 6 tickets to Christmas Glow in Langley for this evening at 7pm. Last night and today there was a snowfall of 2 times the expected forecast. There has been a provincial and municipal advisory to not attempt travel/driving unless essential. It has been snowing all day at our residence in Burnaby, and the roads are treacherous. Langley is even worse. The communication from the news shows the dangerous and hazardous conditions with photos in the current newspaper. Despite that, whereby i anticipate many unless walking distance will not attend, the company has recently put out a discount code to sell even more tickets. Despite the hazard, they are not cancelling the event so that they can claim that it is non refundable. When i first inquired it was not explained that municipal advisories would not warrant a closure. This does not seem to us to be honest practice. we would like a refund on the 6 tickets purchased as it is impossible to attend the event this evening and given the hazard and continuous snow the event should in good faith be cancelled. the forecast continues throughout Christmas. After that we return to work and Glow ends shortly after so we are unable to reschedule such an event. refund 108.65.

    Hello,

    This customer was refunded, I saw to it myself. We were scrambling to adjust given the unprecedented weather and just did not respond quickly enough to this customers liking. I assume that means this is resolved

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 18619701, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    they did decline a refund the 2 times i requested, but after they saw the complaint through BBB they agreed.

    i appreciate it.
