Our company used Lenmark Industries to assist with a consignment sale of an unused bucket filling machine we purchased for around $100k. We entered a consignment agreement that stated that they would store, market, and sell our equipment, and once sold, they would provide us payment within 30 days of making the sale. We were notified on Nov 27 that the item had been sold, but weren't originally told how much. After many calls and emails, we were then sent an email on Dec 14 showing that the amount owed to us was $63,341.28 (which is fine with us) but that they were waiting for "receivables to come in" before we could get paid. I read this as they already spent our money and didn't have enough to pay us at that time...money accrued from the sale of our property. We provided them all of our EFT information but *************************************************************************************** returning any of our emails. I then personally went into their office on Jan 11 and spoke with *************************, their President, and he assured me that this wasn't normal, that he himself would assist, and that it would be resolved by the end of that week, or at the latest, the beginning of the following week. It is now January 24th, almost 2 months after we were originally contacted about the sale, our inquiries are not being responded to, and I don't have $63k from the sale of my equipment.Maybe I'm missing something, but this doesn't feel right.

In the middle of April I found an add posted by ******* on ****** for an electric motor. I asked for the shipping charge, they provided a quote. I accepted the price and paid with my credit card over the phone on April 21st. The name of the guy who provided a quote and charged my card was JR. I received the package and although I have not tested the motor it was legitimate transaction. On April 25th Lanamrk charged my credit card in the amount of $182 and shipped to me some oil leaking junk that looks like a gear box. The parcel came without any documents and I never authorized the transaction so it is a fraud. In addition they violated my privacy act by keeping my credit card on file which is illegal. On May 4th I called JR at Lanmark Industries but he has not picked up so I sent the email stating that they illegally charged my card and that I want my money. As of May 16tt they have not responded to me.

After speaking with the customer, *****************, we have determined that the whole thing was a misunderstanding and have refunded his charge. It turns out that he was looking for a quote, but then gave his credit card number to our sales rep and office administrator on speaker phone and asked ** to place the order. They do numerous charges like that per day and this one seemed no different. Unfortunately, upon receiving the item, he tried to reach out to that sales rep who had then taken off for a 2 week vacation and that is why he did not receive a response sooner. **** did not try to contact our office or anyone else in the building or we would have just refunded him without ******. We are determined to make things right for our customers and **** should be withdrawing his claim and we can both go away happy. If you need more information, we would be happy to help. You can reach us at ************ and ask for ********************, or Mark.

About a month and a half ago I contacted Lenmark to offer to sell them 8 ******** Frequency Drives (****) that I purchased used a few years ago. They offer two options to sell or to list the equipment with them and get a cut when it sells. I decided to sell. I was asked to provide pictures and descriptions for a quote. After quite some time I contacted them again to see if they were actually interested or not and was told I had great timing as they were just about to send me their quote. I was given a quote for them to purchase the **** which was much lower than expected but it wasnt a problem because we all need to make money. If I accepted the quote I had to bring them to their office in ***** **. Once they confirmed receipt they would process payment in the form of an *** or a check. I dropped the **** off to the ***** shop on March 14 around noon and by the time I was finished unloading them I was told that they had already confirmed receipt with the head office. I then sent in a void check via email and opted for the *** form of payment. I didnt receive a response that day or the next so I called to check in on the Thursday. I was told that the girl dealing with my file had been off sick the previous day. I was also told that they were very busy and that the payment would take 1-2 weeks to process even though an *** takes 3-4 days ***. On March 22 I sent an email to check in for a progress report which was ignored so on March 24 I sent another which I requested a response by End of day March 27. The response that I received was that she hadnt heard back from the accounting department about payment. Again on the 27th I requested an update once she heard back. Its now March 31. 2 weeks and three days after Ive dropped off my package I havent heard a word since the 27th. Now I find my **** are listed for sale on their site at 11 times what I was offered with one already sold. I dont care how much they make at the end of the day I just want to be paid.

Thank you for taking the time to bring this issue to our attention, we appreciate it. We have investigated the history of this file and note that payment has been made via EFT. We apologize for the delay in transaction time and for any inconveniences this may have caused you. We hope, if given the opportunity, to do business with you in the future.
