Used this business in 2024 for grub control on my lawn. It noticeably reduced the raccoon damage caused by them digging for grubs. I decided I was happy with the results and did not hire them for 2025. Low and behold, I get a text message reminding me that Nutri-Lawn is coming for grub control the next day. I ignored it thinking it must have been sent in error since I did not hire them for grub control in 2025. The next day, someone knocks on my door saying they are going to apply grub control. I said I didn't order it. He said he was just following instructions from the company. I started to wonder if I had ordered the service but forgot so I went to check my email again to make sure I didn't hire them. No quote/estimate, no order confirmation, no receipt, no email exchange between me and Nutri-Lawn at all related to grub control or any other services for 2025. While I was sitting there searching (less than 30 minutes after the technician arrived) I get an email saying "Thanks for your payment". They had automatically charged my credit card. I didn't even get an invoice or request for authorization/payment. I immediately called them to complain and request a refund. I was told "Management implemented a new policy to switch past clients to a subscription service" I said I was never contacted, never asked if I wanted to subscribe, never signed up, nothing. They completed the service without my consent and charged me without my consent. ****** - this company is scamming past clients.

*********, Thank you for taking the time to take my call this afternoon. Again, I do want to apologize that your account was automatically renewed from 2024 to 2025. As your account was a seasonal account (non-auto renew) in 2024 vs a subscription account (Auto renew) It should not have been an active service in our system this season. Our company did change policy at the start of 2025, and all new clients are now set up on Auto renew moving forward, and our Seasonal offer is no longer available. This should not have affected your account and or service and your original purchase terms should have been followed. When you discussed this with my representative, he incorrectly informed you that this policy change is why your service was scheduled this season. We have entered your refund as we should have and apologize for the inconvenience. We hope that once the refund arrives you may consider this mistake resolved and we hope to earn your business back again in the future with your ********* needs.
