    I ordered moving boxes from Say No To Boxes, a subsidiary of ******* Moving and Storage. They did not show up, and had to order from a competitor last minute at a much higher cost. We needed the boxes for a move, so it was time sensitive. In an email December 16, 2024 *** at the company acknowledged the fact that the boxes never arrived, and said she will look into it (email attached). I corresponded many times by text with her and "her boss", and they both assured me the refund would be processed by their bookkeeper. I spoke to "the boss" and he assured me on the phone. I checked in several times by text, and they kept promising the refund over two months. I followed uo with phone calls, but they are now avoiding my calls. It's frustrating, I've used this company a number of times in the past and it's never been a problem.

    On Jan 8th, I paid ****** ***** to rent moving totes for an upcoming move. I paid via e-transfer, and asked for a receipt, I only got sporadic replies where he kept telling me his accountant would get it to me, but never did. I was a little nervous not having a booking confirmation or receipt. We agreed on Jan 17 for box delivery, but that morning after I texted him telling him where to park, he told me he slipped and hurt his leg and was at the *** The timing was a little strange I thought, but I believed him. He told me he was going to talk to his employee to reschedule, and he told me Sunday, Jan 19th. His employee ***** texted me that morning and showed up with my bins as planned. We agreed I'd have them for 4 weeks. On Feb 9th, I texted ****** saying the boxes were ready for pickup and asked when he wanted to come. No response. I poked him again on Feb 21st, to which he replied saying he could do Sunday (the 23rd) between 10 and 12. I agreed. Come Sunday morning, and he's a no show. He doesn't reply to any of my texts, emails, or phone calls. I even tried reaching his business partner *** P and his employee *****, and no one responds to me. I've been trying to reach them via text and email daily since then, with no response from anyone. My text messages are shown as read by ******. Their website for their box rental business has been taken down and it looks like he's been accumulating negative reviews lately where people don't even receive their boxes, so I guess I'm lucky in that aspect that I got them at all. His various business email are bouncing. I warned ****** that I'd file a complaint with the BBB if I don't hear from him because we do not have room in our new place to be storing his boxes for weeks because he can't be bothered to come pick them up. All we want is for these boxes to be removed so we can conclude this business and move on with our lives. The fee I paid included pickup so I expect this to be honoured.

    Nov 4/24 - Submitted online order/payment to rent/have moving totes delivered. I didn't get a reply within ************************************************************ time. Over the next few weeks I attempted to get confirmation of when the bins were going to be delivered and I received only sporadic emails from *** P stating that she was out of the country and wasn't able to confirm. I believe she reached out to other staff in the company to get them to confirm with me but I didn't hear anything back. The day before my scheduled delivery I got an email stating my delivery time window. The moving totes did not arrive nor did anyone contact me to arrange an alternate time. The next day I emailed again, and was again told she was out of the country and was attempting to contact someone else in the company to get in touch with me and gave me some phone numbers. I called and left voicemails, emailed, and never got a response back. Then *** emailed me back and said ***** was going to call me and arrange delivery later that day or next but at that point, I had already made arrangements with another company as I am moving in less than a week and needed moving totes asap. I emailed *** and told her to cancel my order and refund my money. To date, no one from the company has called or emailed me to discuss resolution and my money has not been refunded.
