    We contacted Goodfellas plumbing to provide us an estimate for a basement bathroom renovation in 2022. Devin ******* came out and provided us a quote that we accepted and paid the deposit of $2,228.00 on the 15th June 2022.
    Due to some issues and ownership change at Goodfellas plumbing in the middle of this year, we agreed that he will return the deposit.
    On the 20th September I messaged him again and confirmed again that we would like to get reimbursement and provided the email address for the e-transfer where he can return the deposit to. He replied the next day asking for some time as the ********** affected his finances but they were back in work again and the reimbursement was "priority" for him. I told him that it was OK, and I was willing to wait as long as he provided updates and to that he agreed and confirmed that he only needed a couple weeks.
    On the 4th November I asked for an update, no reply.
    I called him on the 20th November, no answer but received a text that he was going to make the reimbursement on Friday (24th November), which didn't happen eventhough I sent a reminder on that day.
    On the 27th November I asked for an update again and received a text that he was going to make a payment of $1,000.00 on Friday (1st December) and the balance on the next Friday, but again, nothing was received. I messaged him that I understand if there are issues and that I am patient as long as he updates me regularly, even offered him to pay the balance by the end of the year if he can make the deposit for the first half as promised, but no reply eversince and he is not answering even when we call him from my wife's phone.
