    I recently visited this establishment for a routine maintenance repairs on my vehicle and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service from start to finish.From the moment I walked in, the staff at Downes Automotive went above and beyond to make sure my experience was exceptional. They were warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain any issues with my vehicle and answering any questions I had.The actual repair work was completed in a timely & efficient manner, and the results were flawless. It's been a few weeks since my visit, and my vehicle is still running smoother than ever before.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience. Their exceptional service, knowledgeable staff, and affordable pricing make them a clear standout in the automotive repair industry. Five stars, hands down!

    Took my car to ****** at Downes for a second opnion. I asked them to check externally for a gas leak and explained it was going to the dealer the next day for the fuel injectors seals. Dealer quote was $****** for new seals.Not sure if it was lack of communication or on purpose but the mechanic removed my fuel injectors and wrecked the seals. My engine is gdi and the mechanic should know once an injector is removed the seals are done. I recieved a phone call from Downes telling me my car wasnt drivable because the fuel injector seals were wrecked from being removed and I needed to pay $2500 right now to fix it!!. $2500 for new fuel injectors. Way more than the dealer.When I called out thier mistake they were more negotiable. I paid **** for new injectors that I didnt need all I needed was new seals on the injectors at ****** and the real kicker is that didnt even fix the issue !!!! "We guarenntee our work" spiel on the wall in the waiting room is a lie. Im now told my car requires way more work by thier mechanic and I have to pay more money !!!

We strive to provide our customers with the highest level of service, and we take pride in our dedication to meeting their needs.Im sharing the email received by you Tuesday morning March 7 at 8:26am and at that time you sound very positive with the work provided.Hi Everyone,I checked and the pcm and all computors were updated to latest software.Check on software updates was done when the hpfp was installed. So, very recently.What I call funky shifting, lag after certain speeds is done for fuel economy.The reason it doesn't do it after the battery has been disconnected and reconnected is because it has to relearn what ***** programs it to do.Re programming doesn't fix the issues it recognizes theres still problems when relearning and they re surface I like to leave it programed to ***** settings. Please do not re program.Went to Mission last night and no problems.453 kms and quarter of a tank left.That's amazing!!! .Oil still smells of gas but that could be because some oil was left over from before?I'm getting excellent gas millage but some how still intermitten strong gas smell in the car with no codes.Hope this is helpful.Look forward to hearing what the game plan is on Wednesday.See you then ***** ***** as we talked about, we had a appointment for you to come back on Wednesday March 8 as a follow up to insure the repairs were in fact done correctly and to insure there were no further problems. ***** you said that the ***** dealer told you that the injectors were leaking and you didnt want to go back to them, this is why you brought your car to us.At Downes Automotive , we value our customers and always aim to provide the highest level of service.Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.Best regards,Downes Automotive

    Wow ! this is an outright lie ! My car was scheduled to be at ***** Monday morning for reseal on the Fuel Injectors you knew this. Because you dont do work orders or written quotes this leaves a chance for mistakes and outright ripping a customer off. I specifically asked for fuel lines, exhaust and low pressure fuel pump to be checked. Instead you pulled my fuel injectors wrecking all the seals making my car un drivable ! Then ***** had to give us thier quote to fix it so you wouldn't rip me off another ******. The point is my car never needed new fuel injectors, it needed new seals. New seals were ****** not the **** I had to pay, your mistake cost me ****. Yes the car was supposed to come in on Wednesday for recheck but I was told by your mechanic there were three more problems with my car which ***** disagrees with and I decided to not bring my car in because its better at the dealer. I strongly suggest not bringing your car here because as you can see they wallet flush and don't take responsibility for their mistakes
