    We hired Zach G****** from Fresh Prospect Customs Ltd. to measure, order and install new frameless glass guardrails at our house. After he came by and measured we received an invoice for the cost of supplies and services and we sent off the deposit to Zach which was to the cost of $5024.25. He asked for this to secure the project and to order the glass. Below an excerpt from the invoice;

    "Frameless Glass Guardrails $4,785.00
    50% Deposit on the supply and install of approx. 45' of frameless glass guardrails. See quote for further details.
    0.50 X $9,570.00GST
    Subtotal $4,785.00
    Sales tax @ 5% $239.25
    Total $5,024.25
    Balance due $5,024.25"

    We were assured that the glass would take approx. 2-3 weeks from the ordering date. June 22nd, 2022 was when we sent him the deposit. It has been 7 weeks tomorrow since we sent him the money.

    We have since received very little communication from Zach. He told us he would come by finally last Thursday August 4th however he never showed up and won't call or text us back. We've left two voicemails and have been texting him daily. We have offered to hire someone else to pick up the glass and do the work or to give us a refund but haven't heard back from him in two weeks.
    We have no choice but be concerned that he has stolen our deposit and probably never ordered the glass that he said he was going to in the first place.

    We would love to resolve this issue with him civilly and the best case scenario would be he finishes the job that he started and if that can't happen then we would expect a full refund of the deposit.

    We agreed to purchase and installation of custom glass shower doors. Invoice for deposit of $2856.00 issued on April 4, 2022, deposit paid April 8, 2022. Work was to commence in early May. After several attempts at communication, we (business and us) agreed to have deposit refunded. After several promises of e transfer to refund deposit, complete silence from business.
