    I came across a sponsored ad on ********* for a vending company called "Sweet Success Vending Canada". I arranged for an 15 minute introduction video with "William". As I was looking for a side-hustle, the vending business seemed like a good fit for my lifestyle (at the time). I was then introduced to Dave B**** in British Columbia, Canada. Dave is your typical salesman, fast talking, little opportunity for you to talk, always has an answer for every question. He often contradicted himself, mentioning vendors in the same territory that I was seeking, despite his claims that no two reps would have the same territory. He encouraged us to buy into their program before the prices were set to increase. I wire transferred a deposit of $4,000 CAD to Profit Plus Business Systems of which Dave said he would refund me the cost of the wire. I was then connected with Jill B****** of North Carolina, USA who would be responsible for sourcing my locations. I was given a rather odd set of instructions for me to pay Jill directly through ****** and how to avoid the money being held by them. I was given names of her children to send the money to so not to legitimately use the platform for business purposes. It was also strange that the business itself, Profit Plus Business Systems/***** ******* ******* ****** would not pay their contractors directly (I guess they wanted to save themselves from the liability). I had an extenuating circumstance in my life and was forced to take ownership of managing my family's business and could no longer commit my extra time to this passive business. I have been attempting for weeks to speak with Dave on the phone - he is either out of town, or out sick with Covid. Dave does not return phone calls, often time his phone number ************ is out of service when I attempt to call. I simply would like to be refunded my deposit as promised and not be avoided as if there is something illegitimate with this business.
