  I have purchased two puppies from *************** owner of A Goldens Love and I am still to this day pleased with the love, care and service her and her company provides to her p*** and owners. I have a near 4 yr old and 1.5yr old Golden and we have had nothing but enjoyable memories made with our little bundles of joy. We have also been invited to Golden meet *** with *************** and other owners and have seen so many happy owners and dogs. We go walking in the trails and meet siblings to our p*** who also have happy owners. I have been to her place of business and the amount of care and love she puts into her business is way beyond any breeder I have seen. I would trust knowing that I made a great choice in this breeder just go and read her web site and look at all the happy dog owners and the adorable healthy pup pictures and you will be amazed. I have read the other review of an aggressive pup and from a behavioural standpoint a puppy is trained by its family. If you are aggressive with a dog, it will be aggressive with you. I dont think that has anything to do with a breeder but a lot to do with its owner. I have two of the sweetest cuddle bugs around and they are our babies and are treated as such. The first 6 months is a lot of work though and between the shark/velociraptor phase and chewing/pooing phase I can see how it might not work out for some people, but with proper training you will have one of the most loveable kindest dogs you could hope for. Goldens are a fantastic family breed and A Goldens Love is a fantastic place to purchase your puppy and I would do it again if I could convince my husband to get more! Nothing but happiness purchasing from this breeder. The amount of effort she puts into staying connected to her clients/owners is above and beyond. I whole heartedly would not go anywhere else to purchase a golden!

  I bought a golden retriever puppy for $3000 from what I thought was a reputable breeder and a nice person. She didn't give me a contract, or a receipt or official papers for the puppy and at the time, I didn't realize that she should have as we were first time dog owners. We loved the puppy, but she was very aggressive at times so after having her for only 6 weeks, we decided to take her back. The breeder had told me (at the time I picked up the puppy) that if it didn't work out, I would have to return the puppy to her and I had agreed to this.The breeder told me she would not reimburse any money but finally agreed to split part of the money. I returned the puppy to her on the understanding that she would be paying back some of the money. Since there was no contract between us, I didn't actually have to take the puppy back to the breeder but out of respect for her and because I had verbally agreed to this, I did so.Once she had the puppy back and saw the puppy behavior, she initially agreed that the puppy had behavior issues but after some weeks/months blamed me for the issues.Since then, I have tried to communicate with the breeder to get even a portion of my money back, but she has refused. I have always maintained a calm, polite tone with her and she has responded with rudeness, lies and basically a very unprofessional attitude. ** *** **** ***** ** ** *** ****** *** *** ******* ***** *** **** **** *** **** ** ** ***** ** **** ****** ** *********** *** ***** **** ** *** * **** ** **** ******* ** ********** ** *** **** * ***** ****** **** * ********* ******** ******I don't expect to get anything back from her but want to share my experience, so she doesn't treat others this way.

  Hello again, ******. As discussed through your lawyer, the weekly visits you had with your puppy at age 5,6,7 weeks old should have given you ample opportunity to change your mind on the puppy you picked out. At that time your deposit was also fully refundable. We worked with you closely to help guide with training so were equally disheartened that you ultimately were not able to properly care for her. As a reputable breeder we do have a policy that if for whatever reason you are no longer able to care for the puppy, she is to be returned to us at no cost. This is to prevent unwanted puppies ending up in shelters. These Goldens are our world, were attached to them for life. You were fully aware of the policy as all the families adopting from us are. Your 1 star review is simply because you demanded money back and you were not able to get it despite the numerous attempts. You were not sold a faulty dishwasher. A trainer could have been hired or simple puppy classes could have helped you but these avenues required a fee and you decided to return her to us. We found her an amazing home with a family on our wait list and theyre extremely happy and in love with her. This is what matters most. Im sorry you were not able to change our mind about the policy through your lawyer, but our policy is there for this exact reason. We are more than fair / honest with every person adopting from us and unfortunately, we cannot give you special treatment. Without charging the new family a full adoption fee, taking her for another veterinary health exam and making sure the new family had all that we offer in our puppy packs, we are out of pocket for rehoming her. I truly hope youre able to let this go and move forward now. Regards, A Goldens Love
