- Additional Info:As of May 12, 2016: According to Vital Statistics (the government agency responsible for providing vital certificates relating to British Columbia births, deaths and marriages) third party companies must have a written consent from the client authorizing them to act on their behalf, otherwise the application is not processed.
Vital Statics also informed BBB that the timeframe to produce vital certificates are the same regardless of who requests them. A third party company cannot get it faster than the applicant.
