    I hired Saunders construction in August 2024 to work on renovating my kitchen. ***** Saunders provided a quote on Aug. 13, 2024. The project Demolition and Disposal $1985.00 plus 5% GST Cabinetry and Millwork $10,875.00 plus 5% GST Quartz countertop $3865.00 plus 5% GST -Supply quartz countertop -Delivery of countertop -Installation of countertop Plumbing $1965.00 plus 5% GST -Install new undermount sink -Install dishwasher -Install sink faucet Electrical $2845.00 plus 5% GST -Supply and install under cabinet lighting -Relocate switches and plugs -Relocate ceiling light Carpentry and Finishing $3935.00 plus 5% GST -Supply and install drywall where required -Supply and Install baseboard where required -Finish drywall for painting -Install backsplash -Install microhood fan Flooring Install $885.00 plus 5% GST -Install customer supplied flooring -Install baseboard Sub Total $26,355.00 5% GST $1317.75 Total $27,672.75 Payment Terms 25% Deposit 35% When work begins 30% 2 weeks into project 10% When work is complete Aug 15, 2024 I gave him a payment for $6918. A few days later to started the project which he said it would be completed within 3-4 weeks. Oct. 7, 2024 I gave him another payment of $9682. Nov. 14 another payment for the cabinets of $8301. By end of Nov, he stopped coming and just sporadically showed up to do a thing here and there. Flooring was completed but cabinet were slowing coming. He told us he had a family issue and needed some time. We gave him two weeks and after we asked him to let us help him and so the project could be completed before Christmas, but he said no that he could handle. Second week of Dec. no progress so we asked him to complete the cabinets and refund the money for the counter tops and plumber about $6200. It is Jan. 12, 2025 he has not completed the cabinet and no refund. We had sent emails and text messages and he is not responding at all. I need him to finish the cabinets and refund the money for countertops and plumber
