I purchased a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander from Mitsubishi North Shore on January 10, 2024. During the sale, the salesperson offered me an extended warranty, telling me it would only increase my bi-weekly payment by about $6 (which is approximately $12 per month). Based on this verbal assurance,I agreed and signed the paperwork After the purchase, I made several verbal requests to the salesperson including asking for the missing spare key and requesting a copy of the warranty documents so I could understand what was covered. He repeatedly delayed or avoided providing them, saying he wasnt responsible When I attempted to use the warranty for a cracked tail light, I was told it was not covered. At that point,I insisted on seeing the documents and discovered that the warranty actually cost $4,200. Since I financed the vehicle with a 7-year loan at 10% interest, the actual amount I will end up paying for the warranty is nearly $6,900 far more than I was led to believe Recently, due to a force majeure personal situation, I am being forced to sell the vehicle, and the dealership is aware of this urgency. They have offered to buy the vehicle back for $22,000, while my loan payoff amount is $33,000. The $11,000 gap is primarily the result of the added cost of the extended warranty, which was hidden in the loan without clear disclosure I am also concerned that as part of the vehicle sale,I may be asked to sign documents that could waive my right to take legal action or file complaints.I am submitting this complaint now, before the sale is finalized, to ensure this issue is formally documented and to protect my right to seek fair compensation This dealership misled me by not disclosing the full cost of the warranty or providing documents that would have allowed me to review or cancel within the allowed 30-day window.I am requesting the cancellation of the extended warranty and a full refund of $6,900,representing the total cost added to my loan due to this misrepresentation

Purchased a ** through ****** Drives from North Shore Mitsubishi at the end of June 2023. Received the car, not only was it filthy, but it immediately started having a number of issues. We tried to reach out to ****** Drives with no solution as they are basically just the middle man. I contacted the ** of North Shore Mitsubishi in October 2023 as we had booked the vehicle in for a full inspection/diagnosis at *********** and ** advised us of an outstanding safety recall, which no doubt has been a contributing factor to the issues we have been having with the vehicle since day one. **** advised that he could help us and get us into something else, and advised us not to get the recall fixed and that they would once they have the car back. A couple days later our ** was hit in a parking lot, we advised the ** of this and he said get it fixed and they'll still help us into something else. Well, we got the body work fixed, and their remedy for the entire situation was putting us into a different vehicle on an 8 year term and giving us a disgusting trade value $7000 less, than what we paid for the already broken vehicle only 7 months ago. **** *** ** ** *******. I've done my due diligence and found that dealers are not suppose to sell vehicles with an outstanding recall unless stated on the bill of sale (which it was not).
