    Back in Oct 2022 I signed a contract with Khlopchyk Holdings Ltd to replace my roof at my house on ***************************************************************. Invoice #****** was for $9345 and I was asked to pay a deposit upfront of $4672.50 to buy material which I etransferred on Oct 20 2022. Then I was told due to weather job can only be done in spring of 2023. Come May 2023 when I inquired when the job will start, I was told that due to manpower they have to cancel the job even though I have a agreed contract by the invoice. I was expecting to get my full deposit refund of $4672.5 but todate I only got $2500. After many attempts by emails I still have no reply about my balance deposit. I felt the job was cancelled unexpectedly and at no fault of mind. I should be asking for a compensation but was told instead I'm liable for a restocking fee for the tiles. I have never seen those roofing tiles bought in 2022 so I bid to ask were the roofing tiles even bought in 2022 and who were they bought from so I can check if indeed I am liable for a restocking charge. Please help. All i'm asking is a refund of my deposit balance of $2172.5 even though I get the impression above company is ***** ********* *** not ******* ***** keeping their end of the job scope. I was not the one who cancel the job.
