This is a business that has themselves listed as a record label but is actually a promotional company. They are operating as an LLC but are not a registered business on any of the Canadian business registries. Their contract states that they provide very specific services for music artists. However, I did not receive the majority of the services on said contract. I reached out to the CEO multiple times regarding this issue only to get the runaround or never be answered. Each service line item onset contract appears to be handled by a different person. Therefore requiring the music artist to obtain contact information for each of those individuals and track them down to see if they can indeed provide that service. When I inquired about contact information for specific services on contract, sometimes I was told I had to wait until a later date which was not part of contract. I didn't get services listed in accordance with contract. This company charges money for the services listed on a contract and does not deliver. Essentially, I paid for nothing. They did not help my music career. I was not treated as a client. This company acts as if they get to pick and choose what they do for each individual. Again, they are listed as a record label but they are indeed a promotional company with a contract stating there are specific services that are to be rendered. Again, these services are not rendered per the contract and are often only rendered at the discretion at the CEO. I terminated my contract under my legal rights due to the fact that contract had not been honored. At which point, the CEO told me my contract was over a long time ago even though I never received any communication to that effect. I signed my contract in September 2023 and the contract States it is for one year. I have yet to see a contract terminate itself prior to the set date. CEO mentions other folks in his email response that are not employed by this company and have no bearing on this contract.

Sorry to hear ******* is dissatisfied with part or most of our experience together. oUr team is well recognized as the top indie label internationally, but sadly we cannot guarantee every experience will be positive. We *********************** has a better experience somewhere else and with a different group.

Transparency is so important and we stayed in communication throughout the year process and did what we could for her.

I am rejecting this response because:

I filed this complaint due to not receiving services for which I had paid based on our contract. Outcomes of said services are irrelevant as I am not mentioning that anywhere in my claim. *********************, CEO of big records, continues to contact me even though I have requested multiple times that he does not. When I submitted my official contract termination letter to Big records, one of the stipulations was for him not to contact me. He continues to do so. He contacted me again after I filed my complaint with the Better Business Bureau in order to manipulate me into removing my complaint. He mentions several names throughout his emails. He mentions that he pays these individuals. I have spoken to certain individuals and have proof that they are not paid by ********************* or big records for anything that they provide. ********************* also fails to mention that these individuals are not actually employed by big records. For example, he mentions *************************. ***** owns his own company. He is a completely separate entity and therefore any business or relationships I have with ***** do not apply to this complaint. I don't have any business relationships or conversations with any of the folks that he mentioned outside of ***** but he continues to insist that I do. Regardless, those individuals are separate entities and my complaint is not with or against them. My complaint is against ********************* who is the CEO of big records. In his emails, it is obvious that he is trying to manipulate me. He mentions that I will be hurting other individuals who work for big records. Again, this is not true. I do have evidence to support the fact that he does not pay these folks and that they are not employed by him. Unfortunately, this platform is limited and I was not able to include all of my screenshots but I can certainly do so provided the opportunity. Also, continuing to contact me after multiple attempts of asking him not to do so is unwarranted. And if he continues to further contact me it will be viewed as harassment From This Moment on. Manipulating others is a poor form of business practice and Lacks integrity. To make sure I am being 100% clear and transparent, my complaint is for the fact that I did not receive the services listed in the contract that I was supposed to receive. I can provide evidence of this as well. Any complaints or business I conduct is mine and mine alone. He mentions other things that I am not familiar with and have absolutely nothing to do with me. Again, I am requesting a full refund of my money for services not rendered that are under contract to be rendered. I have terminated said contract due to the fact that contract obligations on big records and have not been met and after several attempts of requesting the services and receiving no response or inadequate response, I refuse to do business with this company any further. Perhaps they are suitable for other folks but ********************* and this company really dropped the ball with me. Again I ask that he also not contact me privately or it will be viewed as a form of harassment From This Moment forth. Again, I have evidence of the fact that he lied about paying other folks and I have evidence that these folks are their own entities and businesses and are not owned by big records.
    Sincerely,

    *************************
