I went for a glass of wine and some food and was provided HORRIBLE service, and as such - left a 3 star ****** review using my ************. The following morning, people were reaching out to me from ************** asking me about it - the server had screenshotted my review with my full name and photo and posted it to her ******** following of 800 people. I was then approached in public in my community about the review and called names and when I brought this to the attention of the owner His response was that I basically deserved that treatment because I used his staffs name first. My safety in my own community is at risk here and he didnt even so much as apologize?! I was told that they would take the screenshot down if I removed my ****** review. Other than that Im basically out of luck with however I get treated moving forward.

I just want the complaint on file and the establishment aware of their abhorrent behaviour.

    Business Response

The complainant posted a review and named my Assistant GM, by NAME, and complained about horrible and slow service. 1st off, this is a personal opinion, that customers around her have replied and refuted, saying they were sitting at the bar , at the time of the said HORRIBLE  service, and said that the girl waited no more the 3 minutes for her bill and debit machine to be brought to her. The complainant never called me, instead had a friend , ****, call me to tell me that they had been out and had been accosted due to  my manager posting the review on her social media , as she felt it was a personal attack on her job, which she taked very seriously and has had many wonderful comments and reviews written about her . I explained to ****, that because of her friend naming my employee by name, it has effected her job, as some people have come in and have asked to not sit in my employees section , causing her to lose income and has caused unnecessary stress on her because of 1 persons view on how her service was. My employee had taken down the post 24 hours after becuase she felt it was immature to post, and only posted it because of the shock of having such a terrible review made of her job. The aforementioned ************** reaching out, was mutual friends of the complainant and my employee and was shocked to have seen such a bad review on the mutual friend. I told **** that the post had been removed when I spoke to her but she said it wasnt good enough. I also mentioned that I went through all her friends reviews of other establishments, and 95% of them were negative towards employees and establishments.

I have been in this business for 23 years, have owned this establishment for over 12 years, and never had this sort of nonsense happen. I am a director of a multimillion dollar cancer charity, I am a large donor for my community fire and police departments, multiple schools and sports organizations in my communtiy , and I feel this is apersonal attack on my establishment, employees and character , all because 1 individual felt that they didn't receive 5 star service, at a busy pub during a Sunday lunch rush.

Had the actual complainant, ******, call instead of having her friend make false claims, this would have ended in a different outcome.
