    On August 4 2024,I paid 17.00 for regular gas at Powell River Chevron gas station at 4640 Joyce Avenue Powell Rive BC.V8A3B3.The store clerk gave me a reciept,and I pumped gas.The pump shut down at 12:00 dollars.I went to see the store clerk to ask why she gave me a reciept for 12:00,when I paid 17:00 dollars.It took a few minutes to turn the pump back on,and I was given another reciept for 5.00.No explanation was given why the clerk gave me a reciept for 12:00 with the 17:00 in her hand in front of me..The day after the holiday I phoned the Chevron BC Headquarters,and made a complaint TICKET **********. A man later phoned me,and said he would look at the store videos,and let me know what he finds.Then he started to tell me their gas stations have had a lot of computer problems.this seemed to pertain to problems with the gas pumps.This was not the problem,the problem was the store clerk giving me 12.00 dollars gas,when I payed 17.00 dollars,forcing me to ask for the rest of the 5.00 dollars I paid for.I would like an answer why the store clerk gave me a reciept for 12:00 dollars when I gave her 17:00.Chevron managament should have a report on my complaint to then that I can see.I do not want to see other customers losing money when they pay cash for gas.When the pump shut off,I could have drove off thinking I had the 17:00 dollars in gas.But I read the gas meter,and my gas reciept,so I knew, I never got the gas I paid for.
