- Additional Info:On December 8, 2017: Consumer Protection BC has issued a compliance order and administrative penalty of $400,00 against Prince George Funeral Service Ltd., a licensed funeral provider based in Prince George BC, for:
a)Failing to meet the facility requirements for funeral providers, contrary to section 32 (3)(a) of the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Regulation (CIFSR)
In addition to a $400 administrative monetary penalty, the business has been ordered to reimburse Consumer Protection BC the costs of the inspection in the amount of $400. The compliance order, notice of administrative penalty and the full reasons for the decision are available on Consumer Protection BC website. By law, the business has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision.
